it's probably for th ebest though. it's a bit of an assumption but i did talk to the former GM earlier yesterday and told him i think i must be depressed because i've been sleeping most of the day and going to bed early and waking up early as well.
so when he seemed a bit surprise i was going to bed after the meeting at 8:30 last night...
and then this...
something else going on i wasn't being told.
and if i'm going to be ditched this easily over something like a couple weeks of lower activity levels after guild drama in which i take a back seat on every thing in an increasingly less active leadership team.
idk it's a bit odd though. but for all i know i'm just dealing with some untreated mental illness issues in the one guy and he decided me going to bed early was enough to get rid of me. i have no idea really.

and i spent alot of time runnning lower levels people through dungeons and heroics. i mean occasionally i was like, we gotta do this in a half hour because i only have a half hour to actually play, but beyond that.
and last two or so weeks from that last bit of drama where i was getting yelled at like i was a kid or an employee who was nyerking nyerk up badly was it was because i wanted to do somethings, anything with my fellow 50s that didn't involve ganking lowbies or playing on alts twice a week and calling it a special fun time event.
i think possibly the real reason is- i beleiv ein being on time for things. you don't start a wz that takes 20 minutes 10 minutes before a scheduled meeting that 10 people are already online and waiting to get started as an officer. you don't say you'll be at the meeting an hour prior to the meeting and not show up in time for the meeting so it's done long before you get online as GM.
you don't show up to raids or pvp events or w/e a half hour late and then complain everyo0ne started ahread of you.
because ultimately all you end up doing is making the people that bothered to show up on time wait.
idc if it's showing up to work on time, or meeting upw ith friends at the movies or bar or birthday party before or at the time you said you'd show up. if you say in advance, i'm probably goign to be late, that's one thing. but knowing full well there are other people waiting for YOU to get started, and being a half hour to an hour late is just rude.
they say they are a casual guild, then get mad and half joke that anyone that doesn't say hi when they say hi in gchat is not welcome. because like, people have to glue their eyes to gchat nonstop to wait on your whim to say hi.
or the icnreasingly dull mumble atmosphere which was being overmoderated and people were letting their kids listen in and talk (althoguh oen guy was alright about it, he was mature in teh sense that he was tellign adult joke sand not usign his kid as an excuse for moderating voice chat). god forbid people joke around, adults even using adult humour. because you can't use headphones in front of your kid?
i've been inactive dyue tpo personal issues, brought on in part by guild drama which was unecessary and caustic. but also being burnt out from a trip that was more than i'm used to. as well as getting past that 2nd month of a wow clone typical burn out, no matter how casual you go at it. and i'm teh ones who's racing? my main has nyerkty gea rbecause aside from the week i went from 40 -50 to get there befor ei went on my trip, i've gone back to very casual rate of progression.
so yeah, lol. falls into casual social guilds that use the words family and or mature to describe themselves.
i'm a casual player, that prefers the socialness of other players hanging out in voice comms, and playing at our own pace and doing fun things together now and then.

forming new guild
guild name
reverting to previous FT rules in mumble.
guilds rules and directives/etc(think along the lines of FT)
GUILD NAME.
and future of the guild beyond swtor.
or w/e
remember, it's about playing together with friends and having fun and hangign out and sharing some laughs. somehow we recently got away from that.
like i've always said, i'd rather play with any of you baddies by my side in a pvp match or raid than with a top rated pvp team or hardcore raid guild or w/e.
anyways, i gave melchior flying tutties during the guidl drama nyerk and going back to DT. melchior unsubbed and gave up swtor for lent. so i can't really ask him to log in even for 5 minutes to hook it back up.
so we need a new guild name.
i talked to my Uk buddy and they've elected an officer to reperesent them and deal with any potential issues when i'm not online.
beyond that, basically FT 2.0, back to being able to be yourself in mumble and tell bad jokes again, goign afk whenever you want as long you make it quick or w/e, dickign around having fun and basicalyl just hangign out playing games together.

as far as it goes i don't know what their thinking about mumble i suspect they were waiting to do this until they had already rented their own server. i'm thinking of banning the leaders and anyone who annoyed me as it is now.
but right now i guess my main cocnern is guild name. really. iv'e got a few waiting people that cna help me put toegether the in game guild with a name until aorrund midnight CET iirc, and we can suss out the details as listed above at our leisure.
as far as my website goes, teh forums are ready and set up to do basic guild stuff, minus a calander or other geatures of guild focsued forum packages like guildportal et al. thing is i'm thinking of migrating my blog over to to a free solution and canceling renewel of the services(which would renew next jan) and going from there if we ever needed a sperate forum from AS again.
generally speaking this whole effort is about our little community, adn friends of that community. it's not focused entirely on swtor or any other single game. and it's really up to you if you spend mroe time on teh current server or not.
and yes, mumble will once again be nsfw, m for mature, r rated for adult content, 4chan lite, excplicit language. offensive cotnent. references to drugs adn alcohol.

anyways, this is where it looks like it is now:
Quote
i've learned that the guild we put together during the guidl drama a few weeks ago is still accessable. some time today i will be able to get control back, at which time i will be able to tweet and otherwise inform people that they can get in touch for an invite.
the guild is named flying tutties. that is the word filter for flying tutty on the forum the founders know each other from. it's a bit of an inside joke as well, which i am happy to explain when asked.
first off, FT is a social casual guild of friends and friends of friends who like to hang out, maybe play some games together, tell bad, sometimes offensive or racist jokes, tease each other, get drunk online, brag about banging nyerkes or making money irl, or w/e else comes to mind.
first rule of mumble is: if you can't take it don't dish it out.
2nd rule is: try not to take things too far.
3rd rule is don't be an asshole.
4th rule is: no political soapboxing. defined as regularly on an ongoign basis ranting about your personal views on poltiics. talking politics now and then is quite ok. similar rules for religion. on both of these areas, keep it civil, and better yet, keep it not serious.
if you want a channel for yourself or friends in mumble. ask me and you shall recieve. pretty much any name you want. i cba to get novaru to write special access rules in the ACL though so don't bother asking.
yes mumble is M for Mature, as in GTA4. Rated R as in movies with swearing and other mature subject matter. 4chan lite as in there may be off colour racist derogatory mysoginstic jokes told. feel free to groan at these as you will. think of it as an HBO comedy hour set with eddy murphy or chris rock or mitch hedberg or the guy from teh 90s who's name escapes me who got ripped off by that guy with red hair.
anyways, i was looking for an officer for the EU/morning shift, but the suggested person doesn't have a headset yet, which is kinda required for the duties.
officer canddiate will log into mumble when online. basic responsibility is if someone is soapboxing, or having a rage fit, the officer should probably give them a verbal warning or two then give them a time out via kick, then maybe let me know via twitter or w/e somehow.
similar goes for in game.
anyways
we will be a casual social guild, not necessariyl swtor only, of friends and friends of friends who like to play games and hang out. some of us have already left swtor. others don't play much. still everyone is welcome in to mumble to hang out and shoot the nyerk.
it's ok to talk about other games you are interested in. do try not to be overly ranty about how much swtor sucks, but i mean it's ok to say it sucks if you feel that way.
it's ok to be playing other games and hang out in mumble. it's ok to group up without being in mumble. it's perfectly ok to ignore gchat. we don't use it much anyway.
as for events/guild activities. we may or may not have these. feel free to start one up if you see people online. it's also ok for those people to ignore them. but it's also ok to peer pressure them lightly into doing stupid wasteful things like roaming gank runs with you while you get drunk on a weeknight. it's also ok to tell DK to nyerk off when he peer pressures you in to doing roaming gank runs while he drinks beers on weeknights.
btw it was bill hicks.

he listen too much to lemon or something
or
he doesn't find me useful anymore for w/e vision for the guild he has
or
he's mentally ill and untreated. which would actually explain the abotu face when i went on vacation.
everytime i';ve had as erious guild business/ my statu schat with him or vol in teh past 2 ro so weeks, they've continually brought up "racing to the top" or "beating the game" even though i've done niether, for some reason both think i have done that. which is odd, because i haven't said anything negative abotu swtor beyond i am waiting for 1.2 to imrpove some things and not having a few tools to make a good ppv strat, and just losing interest in my jugg and liking the ptotential of my power tech better because of these differences between the two classes. but also noting i feel perfeectly viable on my jugg over and over again.
anyways, i hope you join us in the reformed flying tutties tepi.
