So what I'm wondering is if someone can shed some light and help me out?
Is the manastone best 440 crit/ then attack? For PvP and solo?
Is the manastone 60%shield/40%hp for PvE?
Which stigmas should I be using? And which greater ones should I use?
I am also very confused about weapon choice? Sword and board? Or greatsword? Or is it situational if so such as?
Thanks all.

the crit softcap was changed/removed (dont remember exactly) and now 500Crit is the mark to aim for ,ofc fighting players with crit resist you'd want more, Scrolls+food
2.4kBlock for pvp/pve is good to aim for also
2k-2.2k Accuracy
also stigmas just go full offensive - Shieldburst tree
Weapons, Ideally you want a good Mace/Shield for fighting sins/gladiators/rangers for block procs/damage reduction, And a good great sword for sorcs/clerics etc for Knockdown procs
Some tempalrs like to go Sword instead of mace for higher crit/atk speed, but mace for the Magical accuracy/Mboost is the better choice
it is very crucial to know When to switch between weapons when fighting as a templar Binding a easy access key to switch weapons and learning how to switch weapons when you get a knockdown with your shield and then switching to Greatsword so you can get a breakpower/chilling blow off will help alot in PVP
(last edit i swear)
dont EVER use attack no matter what anybody says, they are trash stones once you realise how they work and are only usefull on PVE ranger and Sin

Also what would be the weapon change macro? A knock down with the shield? So is that the level 34stigma? Sorry am noob
Just read over and over what you said.
So ideally you want500crit, 2.4k block and 2k - 2.2kaccuracy on both PvP and PvE?
Ok so another thing the offensive tree does that include the lower level stigmas? Or is that just greater? I am trying to get a better understanding I am sorry. Also mace magic boost? So some of our skills are magic based hence why more of a magic boost? On the skills does it say magic damage so I know which are magic based?

You can set a shortcut for this, check your settings.

Well a KD can be done with two things : chance on a Greatsword crit (auto-attack or skill), or some skills like Face Smash.
The lvl 34 stygma is Break Power, which is a strong attack that you can execute only when your target is knocked down. But be careful, a knock down is different from a knock back and different from a stun. BP only proc with knock down.

It depends on which PvE you're thinking about. Not sure of it so beware of an answer from a better player than me, but I think we have to focus on Crit > Accuracy > Block (or maybe magic boost ?) for PvP and PvE solo (quest, etc), and focus on HP and avoidance stats (Block/Parry/Dodge) for group PvE (because our role is to tank, not to dps/burst).

Yeah, those do not depend on Atk so switching to a mace before casting those skills results in a boost of damage, because maces are the only weapons with magical stats that we can equip.

I made my crit strike unbuffed on pve set (sword + shield) 435.
I put block stones in my shield.
The rest I put HP in, because it's always good to have alot of HP in PvE.
With my crit on 435 I can buff up +120 +60 which results to 615 crit on sword/shield.
I did this so that I crit as much as possible which also means more dmg, which means even better aggro *in case you have really uber dps in your group*
Now I don't know your lvl or your gear. But what might be smart to do is start out with some extra block to get less dmg.
Now for PvP I have entire different stones in my gear than the ones in the above posts.
First I got my crit up till about 600, because with buffs this means ~780. And imo you should try to be somewhere around 800 crit for PvP (I do mean with Greatsword)
Once you have around that amount of crit trust me you have enough
That's atleast how I see it.
Edit: just saw the date on this post xD oops!
