why don't you have magic resist on there? you have accuracy on your list ffs but not magic resist, the one that should be #2 to HP.

Old thread is OLD. Magic resist stones probably didn't exist/weren't common enough to know about.

He doesn't have MP on there either. If you want more feedback on your poll, you should include all of the options. For example, I wasn't able to respond to the poll because you didn't have MP on there. Grats on failing at making a poll.

That's because MP is the worst for Clerics. ^^ No point in adding it.

Since you have a MB gear if you have to solo grind or just slay solo mobs for campaign quests. its true, you kill much faster with MB stones - but you dont want it for grouping / pvp ... thats why i keep my last old gear, take out hp stones and put in mboost

Remember this is an old posting before Magic Resist was there and it was pre-concluded through C-Aion and K-Aion that MP stones are useless for Clerics because of their mana regeneration skills.

There's a newer thread somewher with more accurate information with the new patch after 1.5

HP is still universal for a Cleric. You can't go wrong. In C-Aion, they use a lot of Magic Resist because of the high number of Sorcs.

i have been wondering what manastones i should use as well. i have a level 40 cleric.

i had no HP manastones at all. so the HP of my cleric is around 3800+. i used all block +20 stones and a few magic boost. my block rate was 1600+. in solo PVE, it really helped, but very bad VS strong mage NPC since my hp was only 3800+. in group quests, where monsters are strong. even i had high block rate. it rarely blocks an attack. i dont know why. i didnt block much attacks from monster in instance/group quest like i used to in solo PVE. even i block an attack, still received lots of damage.

so I decided to go all HP. really. in group quests, it really helps. you last longer. but i see there are lots of high level accessories and gears that add lots HP.

so i think if you are below lvl 45 where your hp is low, you should just go all HP. for max level 55 cleric, normally he/she should have fairly good hp boost and magic boost from gears and accessories OR from pots and food without manastones, then i would use half MR and half Block. this way you can balance the def against magic and physical damage, but this is just my style.


haha funny i see some people voted for atk+ and crit+ since clerics mostly deal magic damage. LOL!

Evasion set on cleric could do wonders if you could reach enough evasion. To evade 30% of physical skills is better than say blocking or parrying, you screw over their chains too (you dodge first part of three-skill chain = you just evaded 3 skills).

The clerk would need leather set for this tho and some good one on top of that. Doubt any cleric out there will be willing to farm say 55 AP leather or something. At least manastones would be cheap tho, heh.
