NCsoft West has released a video of their producer Adam Christiansen talking about the up coming 3.0 update as well as f2p and pay to win. The release of the video coinciding very closely with the announcement of server merges in NA Aion is very interesting. Hopefully the hype of 3.0 is worth the pain of the server merge. Oh, and there are a couple of outtakes at the end of the video if you're interested in seeing them.

No information is currently known on which items will be put in the shop other than the ones currently in the shop are highly likely to be in the new shop.

I would like to say that in the Video the Producer is talking about truly free to play content, I would like to ask are Players being punished at the moment. For Example Aether Tapping when we were under NcSoft we could gather as much Aether as we liked without being Cursed, now we are under Gameforge we are being Cursed for doing Aether Tapping, this is Killing Aether Tapping for Veteran Players like myself that have played under NcSoft for 1 yr & 9 months. I have lvl 55 Cleric that needs Aether for Alchemy & yet everytime I go & gather Aether I get Cursed now & have to type in some random code to remove the curse this is BAD please Remove the Curse. We buy Gold Packs so that we can carry on playing the game like we did under NcSoft & yet we are being Punished

That's normal behavior for the Korean client and it's there specifically to stop botting. It's not a big deal to type in the code as long as you're active at the keyboard as a real person.

I would guess then maybe Gameforge should make a Game Client for EU then as I live in the EU & Not Korea. why should we be Punished in EU. also this does not stop the BOTS either, why does it not stop them well lets see Gameforge say I know we will stick a Curse on Aether Tapping BUT Essence Tapping we will leave as Normal without no curse I think Gameforge have messed up here big to, All the Players that have been Paying to play for the last 2 yrs or more, where told that you will be given Veteran Status & the Game Content will not change for you, you will still be able to play the game the way you do now but it will be FREE.

this is not true Veterans are being Punished for gather Aether. I got so bored of keep typing in a code I said I can not be bothered no more..

we will just have to wait for 3.0 to come out in Europe if it ever makes it here & maybe the Game Content will be truly free as the Producer says in the Video, unless he is lying, all we can do is sit & wait

Apparently the game was specialized in some ways for NA that didn't happen with Gameforge. It might be a good idea to help compile a list of the differences that people don't like and head down to aion discussion for our thread with [color="#FFFF00"][url="www.aionsource.com/topic/131253-questions-for-gameforge-aion-producers/"]questions for the producers at Gameforge[/url][/color].

It doesn't mean anything will change, but we should at least ask.

What time zone are the sieges going to be in?

L2 ended up having just about all servers time siege and olympiad for EU players, them being the majority.

More importantly, is NcWest going to start talking even less to you snooz?
