Damn this reminds me of why I stopped playing, like insane class imbalances (ranged > melee) and the need to spend 95% of time grinding for gear. For now Im waiting to try 3.0 out and if it doesnt deliver anything interesting (by that I dont mean things like nyerking housing) then bye bye Aion.

But rangers n glads aren't really imbalanced for each other :/ Their dependence on gear is about the same too...

Except rangers get new toys each patch while glads are either stuck with obsolete extendable weapons or get normal weapon that is 100% useless in the air and is crap even on the ground unless you fight vs another melee. While melee classes are three (temp, glad, sin) and one of them hard counters glads (temp) simply because they have much better selection of skills available.

So with glad you will soon be soon able to 1v1 only sins and other glads and everything else will wtf rape you unless you outgear it badly. Some sweet future is awaiting glads from 3.0 onward, as opposed to rangers who will just laugh in the glads faces and rape their supposed counter class with their wtf ranged burst.

At least DW is finally equal to polearm, both builds will suck dicks really soon haha. Cant wait till this damn game finally dies.

explain how im on the plusside(duelwise) of every temp on the server then, ever thought of trying out polearm? dont sit there and spout bullnyerk when (i think) even ur starting to realise how poor of a decision it was to go dual wield extendablelolLV50maces from 2008 was in the first place ye? and ye also, try actually hitting ur opponent with skills like lockdown, aerial, and crushing blow to stop their burst, pretty good sources tell me its pretty damn effective.

dude, dual is not equal a pole-arm, you're delusional at best. You are using 2 equally "out of date" weapons with a lower damage output and smaller KD chance in comparison to bakarma. And before you come back and say about 3.0 being the death of bakarma, it isn't, its still used. Now for the sake of argument lets say "it is the death of bakarma" - are you seriously gonna go waste time grinding and enchanting two duel wield weapons to have a smaller ranger (2 vs 3) and smaller KD chance all over again?

DW is actually going to be superior to pole in 3.0 onward since you can have two godstones (you take 2x para off course since silence+kd/aether hold wont be viable anymore) and you deal more crit damage with it. The pvp will look like this: cleave - great cleave - new cleave - whirling strike (anything that can be used at long range) - switch to bow (melee only during para proc) and for this DW is clearly superior.

Hell at the moment pole glads kill with burst during KD (crippling cut - draining blow - final strike), this wont be possible anymore because KD knocks people out of your melee range when you dont have extendable weapon.

And while bakarma may still be somewhat useful in 3.0 (vs undergeared people anyway), in 3.5 it will be 100% obsolete because of new manastones.
