so basicalyl what i wanted to talk about last night befor eor after the movie but forgot adn only me ted and device tlaking anyway was communication methods for the guild.
right now i'm basically posting to about 6 different places for every little thing wether it's movie night or when we do gw2 wvw nights or beta information or upcoming games or w/e the nyerk it may be.
and sometimes i forget oen or two places to post this nyerk.
what i figure is, most people have either facebook or steam. and tehy either have steam running when they're at home and their game pc is on, or they check fb on a regular basis either at home or from work or w/e.
so what i'm thinking is, we have the steam group already, and it has some good stuff, but it's kinda a pita for people to actively conciously check for some of the stuff i post there. but that's not terrible because important stuff i can set to notify via pop up.
adn then i'll make a fb group for ft so we aren't cluttering up the cc group, but people that don't have steam running every day when they're on tehir gaming rig or w/e can use this instead.
using either one will be optional, however members MUST use one of these platforms for the guild stuff.
these are the two places i will update guild info, news updates, and all that nyerk. saving me time effort and so on.
so i will basically add all teh guys i have on fb that we game with at all or even just do movie night/hang ou tin mumble to the ft fb group, adn then move guild specific stuff to that group.
so that basically the people on the cc fb group don't have to deal with any new recruits we pick up and we can keep to that kind of stuff, and new recrutis don't have to deal with cc people being our usual charming selves without being a part of the guild.

he was kinda ornery at times in rift, but he kept hanign out with us after we all quit and was cool to chill with.
in swtor he started no lifing the game day and night to play with dt warhamemr vets at every time zone, stopped talking to me about guild business, and started to get all mental and nyerk. basically i went on vacation to hang out with my bro for 2 weeks and he suddenly started getting all negative, called a officer meeting which just him being a nyerk, got asked why he was being nyerky and blamed it on my bro, then within a week had gone apenyerk deciding that we couldn't do any level 50 nyerk at all for the events i was leading (ie gank runs) because the guys who were 50 were putting together dungeon groups on their own, therefore we were catering to them and not to the sub 50s.
when they kicked me/us, they said i was rushing or racing or something, adn that i was breakign the rules and encouraing others to break the rules.
was funny because tehy were barely talking to me but when i was in mumble with musa he pretty muchjust told racist jokes and cut off people anytime we started laughing about something.
and uh, i got in game 2nd wave first day of early access(ie first one in guild in game) and was among the last of the people who started in teh first month and played regularly at all to hit 50.
tbh it was getting pretty gentlemany in there anyway. the guy who was trying to impress us to assure us it wouldn't be kid friendly/pg13 voice started hiding behind his kid and gf whenver he played which was like once a week for 2 hours semi afk after being totally afk afk for a month, adn they invited the founder back that would rant about his taxes and if someone swore or told a joke he'd be like "hey my kid is here"
so some of what we decided to go with for ft reformation is kinda based on that, but also getting back to our original plan of just being friends playing games together and nyerk.
bascially the guild is based on the whole premise we went into it with rift "let's try some games together and have fun even if it only lasts us 2 weeks"

idk what sub groups are.
i want the guild roster on fb to be seperate from the cc fb group for the sake of both groups of members and the intergrity of both the cc comunity and the guild community should we be successful with any kind of recruitment.
oh and i also made a guild channel on quakenet but i don't expect to put it to use yet.

irc can go from dead to fast paced in a minute or two randomly. i started using it again a couple years ago because o fchitchat, then those chans died, so i stopped using it, then some interest because of rift to hang out on qnet and talk about rift. so i joined up and made some new friends there like sundial.
if you don't liek fast paced conversations with multiple threads than irc can be a bit much. but i still miss when cc was so busy i'd wake up to a full page of heavily posted in and new threads, finish them by lunch, come back from lunch to fresh new threads adn keep posting til i went to bed at 10. all with multiple conversations happening in every single one of them.
we used to joke after aion launch, due to the huge drop in posters per minute that chitchat was dead. but even back then it was busier than it is now, or has been since uhhh idk rift?
