otherwise if you are lazy like me and dont weave in pve unless necessary then the best dw combo dps wise (unless you aim for specific weapons like ddg maces or stormwing sword set) is dagger+anything. daggers are just vastly superior to all other weapons in this game dps wise.

Self buffed order from high to low
Dagger - Mace
Dagger - Sword (feck all difference from dagger-mace, but still less)
Mace - Sword (mace in main hand for godstone, lost loads of melee dmg not worth it)
couldn't try double mace but im guessing not far off mace-sword. Thanks gf. In 3.0 get the kahrun warhammer for offhand, the templar thing with attack n accuracy. Done.

TLDR: offhand dagger = +6.5% total autoattack dps (including main hand), +6.5% more godstone procs, x2.3 offhand crit multiplier, 6.5% easier weaving due to more attack speed (you need to wait 6.5% less time for a weave); offhand mace = +10% offhand dps, higher offhand attack and attack per enchant resulting in even more dps, x2.0 offhand crit multiplier.
