SMs don't need normal fears even now, dispells plus insta fear with two debuffs -> silence/bind is enough (then add root, slows, attack/cast speed reduction and an ???? -> profit).

But insta fear is way more OP compared to the normal fears, and it will still be OP in 3.0.

Insta fear is a nyerked up spell in 1vs1, true that, but in grp PvP it doesn't really last long enough to be of any harm (except when it lands on clerics -> shriek -> win)

Any good geared team kill one or two members of your team in one insta fear depending on how long it last.
