so i woke up this mroning and my imperator is doing the only moves sideways thing that it sometimes does, except this time wiping my hand over the sensor isn't working and it keeps doing it making my morning browsing somewhat annoying

i bought the death adder because when i played aion, i was able to use modifiers to keybind my skills. i didnt need more than 5 buttons on my mouse, so i designated special skills to it, which i didnt need to fiddle around with to find the button. normally it was a quick heal, or a break stun. if gw2 still acts gay on launch and want you to use 1button keybinds, then the naga special edition is a viable option. still makes me rage though

i was thinking naga just for the other two attunments i don't have room for on my nostromo.


otherwise i wouldn't even use all the buttons lol. not really my thing normally either.

attunements onyl thing i really need modifiers for anyway in gw2.

most gaming mice have atleast 2 extra buttons nowadays. just get one according to how it feels. go to a local store if you have one

like i said in shoutbox i might go look at walmart and the source after breakfast today.


though neither tend to have gaming mice and when the source has gaming stuff it tends to be ridiculously overpriced lol.


otherwise i'll just uh idk, maybe get another imperator or a naga. not fond of using mouse side buttons in combat though tbh... so maybe not.


this imperator that is nyerkign up to the point of frustration this morning has been the longest lasting mouse i've had since my intellipoint 3.0 that lasted several years though.


luckily i have a not too nyerked up back up x5 sidewinder. but the pads are gummed up and scroll wheel gets sticky(latter is the reason i bought a new mouse after i bought it) it's ok for netbook use, but not something i want to game with or desktop with on an ongoing basis.

i think some of the buttons are for dpi adjustment and not really well placed anyway.


imperator has them too.



idgaf about that nyerk. i don't even install the mouse software. i just plug an dplay my mice for optimal results.


anyways used a qtip on teh sensor and it seems to be working again. might hold off on buying a new mouse.

i have a naga and everyone complains about the build quality.

which is true, its not very good at all.

But i cant play mmos without the 12 sidekeys anymore, i've got too used to them.

Have you tried updating the drivers/firmware on your mouse? might fix it, razer has been releasing updated drivers every month i think for the nagas and similar mice.

you need to use that synapse thing though.

i fixed it with a q-tip

i don;t have any other issues with it so no need for firmware update. the razer mouse software for this model is also complete nyerk.

i can't play any games at all without my nostromo/n52 i'm so used to it. mind you i've been using these for over 10 years now so...


i dun like using my mouse thumb buttons in combat though. not even for voice ptt.

I still roll with my G5. It's ergonomically perfect for my hand size. Only two extra buttons but that hasn't really proven to be a problem yet, so I'll keep using it til it dies.
