How do you freaking kill this guy? He's in the Dukaki Mine in Veteron, and I can't catch him to kill him.

Was really easy to kill on my spiritmaster, it was a little harder on my cleric
You just have to stun it or slow it down somehow and kill

You can hit it on pop then cut it off again near the end for another few hits

Root him or stun him if you can. If your a assassin do your 20% speed skill and hit him with a fast stun then a stun again and keep doing it.

There are couple of quests like this. You just have to find the end of his path (should be near the X on the map, when you locate), and wait for him there. The mobs for these quests that move about 30% faster than your average player, will run a route, then stop at the end for like 5 seconds. If noone attacks them at the end of the route, they will despawn.

You will find another quest like this for a boar at level 24, his name is also something like Hasty..

Thanks guys. I'm a glad.
My friend is a Cleric though, so he'll root him.
Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything else.

Think it was Nimble something and it's much harder to kill than this one. The boar was hard to kill not because I wasn't able to catch up (as a sorc, I have a variety of disables/slows), but because it DISAPPEARS everytime I sleep/disable it. I don't know if this is a bug or whatnot, but it was annoying. Though on the bright side, you get a good title from doing the quest.

Nimble Aramis, yeah, he is a pain, but if you look closely at his path, there are several cut off points you can catch him at. He runs in semi circles around the plateaus in the desert, in triangle-like pattern. There are 4 of these plateaus, placed in a row, kind of like:
. .
. .

He starts at the bottom left one (southwest) and loops around the south side. If you camp him there, you will be able to get a good stun or slow right off the bat. Then, he will loop around the side of the bottom right and make a break for the upper left one. At this point you can once again cut him off, this time in the middle of the square. If you lose him again, dash across to the area between the top and bottom left plateaus and try one last time. If he reaches the side of the bottom left dot, he will vanish, and recover all his HP.

Personally I hate these chase-style quests, I wish they would be revised into a more predictable style, in which perhaps upon finding the mob he begins his mad-dash, instead of from some point unknown to most players. That way players could get their stun or slow off easier and not have to just sit and wait for him to pass by once more. Just my two cents though.
