the 26/06/12 release date seems bad to me. I've seen a few sites promoting it, but it's not going to happen.
That's in about 1.5 months from now, but we've only had our first beta. I guess they won't release it sooner than September. The reason for this is so that they can clean up the game, finish up races (like Asura and Sylvari), get more time to prepare thoroughly,...
And I have to admit, I prefer they take their time and deliver a finished game, than give some unfinished junk like SW:TOR was.
Or a game with more content than TERA, since I heard a bunch of people quit since there's nothing to do.
And another game that's going to be released soon, The Secret World, which feels unfinished, rushed and repetitive (or so I've been told, haven't been able to participate in the beta this weekend due to busy schedule).

Gotta agree with this comment swtor is a big fail, pvp is zero needed months of work.
Just for the record Beta servers wont be retail servers right? and characters you created on beta will be deleted i assume.
At any rate lets try to stay posted when GW2 is released so we all go to the same server as obviously competition between servers will be tough and rough and from what i read having a strong server will be rewarded.
Btw so far 2 beta test one closed beta (i tried it) and one for pre purchase. ALso got 2 stress test including today
