From the 30th of May to the 26th of June, Gameforge Aion will be running a test of a new rifting system. The system will make each faction either a Vindicator or Infiltrator for the week. In addition, you can gain 50% more AP from defeating monsters in the Abyss and Silentera Canyon while the AP loss in Balaurea and the Abyss is being reduced to half.



* The weekly rotation becomes effective with the end of the server maintenance.

While the rifting buff is active for your faction in the list above, your faction will be protected from the opposing faction rifting into your lands and killing you. The buff basically grants large resistances to damage. The buffed faction for the week will thus be the infiltrator faction, which seeks to rift into the other faction's homelands.

The faction for the week without the rifting buff will be vulnerable to attack through rifts and will be the Vindicator faction. Please note that the rifting buff applies to Morheim/Beluslan and Eltnen/Heiron.

Nope, the old system was with rift buff either enabled for both sides or disabled for both sides.

Basically this. When will we have a system that makes zerging groups lose AP when zerging?

Never. It wouldnt work. Imagine fighting lets say 10 people or so as a full group, youre killing everyone but one person, he manages to run away for abit and once you reach him youre zerging him and lose ap.

Fact of the matter is, you can always make a perfect balanced system, but then you realise it's made by a RNG, RP, Cosplay, Cuteoutfits/pets loving company that is only keeping this game online because it earns them tons of money.

I can't blaim them, they are right. There are almost no good pvp players playing this game. There is no e-sports, there are no tournaments. The majority of players wants a fancy looking game with cute pets and outfits and will gladly pay for it with real money.
