well if you missed or forgot wildstar from some conlast year i can't blame you. it looked like a very dull and run of the mill overly cartoony wow clone.

however i got linked this video today and it actually looks like it coul be something interesting:

isnt that the game made by the same guys that made city of heroes?

either it is or i'm just confusing the names.

I found it interesting the platform/jumping gameplay and the exploration gameplay (as opposed to just killing stuff over and over).

I'll wait and see more of it before i decide what to think of it.

I generally do as well. Though I'm looking forward to the new Tomb Raider, though that doesn't look nearly as platformy as its predecessors.

On a somewhat platforming related note, while I was dicking around on my alt in Tera I saw this giant set of jumping stairs(Must go somewhere right?). After about 10 tries getting up there I was about to give up and decided to go once more. Got all the way to the end only to find out it just ended abruptly and nothing was there.

I was not pleased.

idk where this idea that you should get loot for jumping around on nyerk comes from in mmo's.

used to be people who liked to do that were happy enough to get to an out of the way hard to get to place and take some screen shots.


now there has to be some kind of loot reward at the end of it too.
