Okay so.

GF has undertaken the brave task to "maek kewl event yo" by expending the dev resources they're not using/having for semi-important things (like delivering on promises such as VR2, 3.5, secure website etc etc) by making

THE LOTTERY.

Which is a tl;dr/MEGO wall of text on their awsum website which totally sucks how they're going to randomly decide which prize you're getting (and even if you think you've qualified for a prize you'd like, they still decide for you what the "best possible" reward is), but you can get BETTUR prizes if you waste more money in their failshop.
Oh and the top prize ? A 3-year goldpack. THey must be f'ing insane if they even BELIEVE they can keep the game running for that long at the destructive pace they're going.

Now here comes the kicker.

Not only do you get a daily ticket mail ON EACH OF YOUR CHARACTERS if you are using your account, you're expected to KEEP THOSE TICKETS IN YOUR INVENTORY ....

Evidently GF thinks/believes/has been on the psychoactive mushrooms again/all of the above that our inventory space is infinite.

The lottery runs for 24 days. That's 24 tickets if you're smart enough to NOT give them your money which they don't deserve anyway - that's almost A FULL CUBE of space you lose for their idiotic event .

But yes, it's srsly awsum ... the list of prizes is almost as laughable as the whole event is:

aaand can someone tell me how I'm supposed to get that shiet from the ticket? Because I don't have access to their website after last VR allocate thingie which totally crashed in the middle, and they didn't reply to my ticket nor fixed it.

After calling my lawyerese translator and asking him to decode GF's epic wall'o'text, it's been concluded you merely need to leave the ticket in your inventory and be logged out between 06:00 and 06:15 CET to claim the prize they feel you're entitled to every day.

I can't wait to see how badly they're going to screw it up.

It's already failed! there is nothing to collect in your mailbox today if you haven't logged in yesterday before the event started, I'll keep you posted if it arrives sometime during the day.
VR1 faulty distribution returns sigh.

"Every character will receive a ticket for free if the character was logged in from the 1st to 24th December. The tickets will be delivered to your mailbox via shugo express THE NEXT DAY"
so if you didn't log in yesterday November 30th you already don't get todays DEC 1st ticket.

If what GF said is true nobody should get todays ticket until tommorrow 2nd but many already have!

I think it's all in how you point it out to them, tbh ... not saying your way was/is wrong - but either Seven has it in for you or I'm able to toe the line ....

After all, I've crossed Seven enough times w/o getting any consequences but pointless "warnings" ... which I give exactly zero nyerks for, and carry on as usual.

It's a bit of both, the problem with inexperienced mods is that they get it in their heads to target who they think are ring leaders who apposed to GF when all they want to do is help Aion.

There is a wise old saying "who you think is your enemy may be your friend and who you think is your friend can turn out to be your worst enemy"

+1 agree.

Not so much 'inexperienced' mods -- it's mods unable to see perspective and rigidly apply rules (not uncommon in Germany btw) regardless of whether it produces desired results ... in that regard I sometimes pity the people adminning the forum because at the end of the day, for all the power they believe they wield they only get to absorb all the hate directed at the people making the decisions, who can blissfully ignore the consequences of their actions.

I'm fairly sure the order for this raffle/lottery came from 'up high' in a failed bid to placate players though.

Just keep the tickets in your mailbox and only get them out if you have those completed you wanted.

And even if you have all vet awards in your mailbox... grab the plat medals (they stack) and you will still have enough mailbox slots left.

And for the prices.... a shame indeed! I would prefer that they give out only Blue Balaur Scales for everyone. For my great amusment when I read the reactions on LFG. Coke and popcorn prepared.
