tera should have never been anything other than b2p or f2p hyrbid.
as both a game and the content it had at launch, and has since added, it has never been able to support a $15 sub, much like many of the mmo's released last year.
regardless of the retarded comments you see on every new mmo youtube video about it being just another tab target/hotkey skills mmo, if people really wanted tps/fps/action rpg combat in their mmo, games like tera would sell alot better than they do, or in cases of the games in teh subgenre that have plenty of content, retain players better.
but they don't. these games don't even do that well in their native korea.
it's because they're all gimmickry and novelty, without much depth or substance. the combat systems are nothing new if you've played dynasty warriors or like games in teh past 20 years. and branding them as mmo's is simply self defeating(which is a rampant problem in the mmo industry in general, not just for action rpg games like tera)
wether or not tera was mismanaged in eu (or na) has little to do with teh game itself simply not being what is required to support people paying a $15 a month sub for more than a couple months unless they play only a couple hours a week and don't socialize with other players in game.
