let’s just say that both extreme sides are wrong. neither is windows 8 unusuable, nor is metro good, easy to learn and use, or intuitive.
once you learn how you can avoid and ignore metro(modern) ui in win8 though, it becomes a very decent upgrade from win7, with alot of improvements to the ui usage paradigms started with vista and 7.
