i've been playing for months and its really good.
Its pretty much everything Diablo 3 should've been, including pvp
The Races (timed not species) are really fun to play in but i'm not sure how it will be in open beta.

i'm still playing but i highly recommend to play on unconventional times (read: later or earlier than american prime time if you are playing in the americas).
The lag can be fatal and cruel, i almost died today but managed to survive due to my skills and potions being going on when the lag happened.
Going to take a break until the lag diminishes or it will be stressful to play hardcore.

They must not have played many hack and slash RPG/Dungeon Crawlers in their time.
When the entire gameplay revolves around killing swaths of monsters for loot, it's safe to assume that's what the endgame will be, too.

it's basically everyone who played diablo2/3.
And i don't know what people expect. Do they expect puzzles? I mean all there is on these games is the gameplay which is killing mobs over and over and over.
The thing is that PoE has races (which are fun) and is generally harder than diablo 3.
I dont know if you guys know but during the closed beta they tested a cutthroat mode where you could enter other players zones and it was free for all pvp with item loss, meaning you dropped all your items when you died. It was really interesting and funny.
While the game is nothing completely amazing i think it's a decent game, they do a good amount of patches and are actively working on the game, and they have to they're a small company and if the game doesnt do well they are going to have problems. So there is a difference with how they handle the game compared to say.. bioware or blizzard.
But yeah, the gameplay itself is somewhat repetitive.
