First off, a bit of stale news for anyone who pays attention to Google News or Aleo's twitter feed: NCsoft has found a dedicated Australian distributor for Aion! I have no idea if this means Oceanic nations will get their own servers, but if they do you can be sure AionSource.com will support them. ;)

I added the bold emphasis on "3.5 million" subscribers. Isn't that awesome?! QVS even created a dedicated website for the game that looks pretty good! Wonder if NCsoft NA/EU's new Aion website layout will look similar... :D

Anyhow, on with some more interesting news: thanks to user Serafer and EBGames.ca, another interesting tidbit of info has leaked out. Aion's preorder might become available on or near May 29th at retailers worldwide! Whether this factoid's true or not is, of course, debatable until NCsoft itself makes an official statement next week. I wonder if they're taking Monday off?

EDIT: To be honest, though, I think this is just when EBGames.ca plans on revealing their special preorder deal. I doubt any actual preorder boxes will be available. May 29th is most likely the date NCsoft plans on releasing the information they've been hinting at. It's also probably the date they told retailers to post the preorder for sale...but GameStop doesn't seem to like playing by the rules, do they? Then again, it could be one of those silly "exclusives" NCsoft gives to videogame industry giants. :p

Well Gamestop and EB are the same company now, so idk, I think it's just a Canadian thing because one buddy of mine can't preorder his yet without going across the border.
