Hey world, guess what? Looks like NCsoft gave FZ.se 250 beta event keys to hand out via online sweepstakes. FZ.se is a Swedish gaming site, one of their biggest, kinda like IGN or Gamespy.

Thanks goes to user Elumes for sending this in via PM. I would have never heard of it otherwise.

Yeah, we were told there would be no NA/Eu beta, however I will try to make an account just to enter it, even though I can't actually read a word.

NCsoft renamed "preview events" to "beta events" in order to confuse us more and cater to the idiot population who couldn't figure out what "preview" meant.

I will be waiting for Fileplanet to give me an Aion key. They enticed me to renew my membership with these coming betas:
Champions Online, Aion, Huxley, and maybe some more can't remember. But fileplanet won't be giving them out until the beta is actually here...

Why would I use a swedish company's address? Meh, whether I have technically entered it in right or not, it has listed my postal address in a way at the bottom of the beta competition form in a way that anybody in the postal service would be able to understand.

One thing I just noticed in the smallprint though is this: "Winners crowned by a jury composed of staff. The jury's decision can not be appealed." So.... what? Are they saying that the admins are infact choosing the winners themselves.... isn't that a bit open to corruption e.g them giving all the betas to their friends? Hopefully I'm wrong.

that does seem really very sketchy. idk if i trust going through all that work only to have the jury decline it ne how.
