Hey guys. I am having a bit of a problem with my client on the Chinese Aion servers. Suddenly it keeps crashing to desktop all the time. Earlier it was only in Sanctum that it did it sometimes but since I came to Elten it crashes like every 3 minutes.

I have a new high end computer and running Vista 64 bit so I don't really know what the problem is. Anyone had any problems like this?

maybe if you actually provided details instead of just saying you're crashing people can help you.

Well, specifically, are you crashing back to desktop with a windows error? Or is your client just vanishing? Etc.? This type of info can sometimes help.

Also, if you want someone more "techy" to help you, you're probably going to need to post your actual computer specs. You might want to try these forums also: The Basement - AionSource.com

having the same problem, pretty much just quits Aion and no error or anything comes up, just completely vanishes!

Sorry, i was trying something facy and i think i might've killed Aion.

I also have this problem, I can play for 5-10 then my game closes with no error message back to desktop.

I'm having the same issue, I attribute it to the 1.2 update, but who knows?

It's none of these answers, a lot of us who have been playing the game smoothly and perfectly the past month are now all of a sudden experiencing this problem. I'm almost positive it's not our internet providers or drivers.

I've been getting the same error too, would crash to my desktop without any errors or anything popping up :/

Help please, I've been playing this game for 3 weeks on Chinese server (last region) and never had this problem until now. I'll be playing but after about 10-15 minutes the screen will freeze for a split second and the entire client will close without a single error or warning message. It just closes.

I don't know what to do but I never had this problem before, I don't have Comcast I have SBCGlobal, but I'm sure that doesn't have anything to do with this problem.

Having the same problem as well. It hasn't happened since I updated my nvidia drivers an hour ago though. Hopefully that fixed it but it's to early to tell atm.

The issue is with the new update. I've seen it happening as well.

Check your Event logs right when it happens and see if you see this.

Application popup: Windows - Application Error : The exception Privileged instruction.
(0xc0000096) occurred in the application at location

I've been able to run a registry cleaner / reboot and play fine. However if I quit the game and relaunch I'm back to the client crashing as well. This only began happening after the recent patch. Removing gameguard and having it reinstall does nothing, nor does removing the game entirely and reinstalling.

It's been very annoying.
