Here is a hot fix for Aion if you keep getting "The install information could not be downloaded. Please try again in a few minutes."

Open: C:\Program Files\NCSoft\Launcher\Config\Extensions\Aion Internal\Games\Games.xml
If it doesn't look like this to you:
Open: C:\Program Files\NCSoft\Launcher\Config\Default\Extensions\Aion Internal\Games\Games.xml

Take the old Games.xml and put in the one in the .zip that I have attached to this thread. MAKE SURE ITS THE GAME.XML IN THE \EXTENSIONS\Aion Internal\Games\

there are 2 Games.xml files, too. be sure the one you edit is the one found in the \Extensions\.

I'm interested in how to get the Japanese PlayNC Launcher to coexist with English PlayNC Launcher. Right now I have both Aion clients installed but the Japanese version just won't launch or update.

It'll only work if the reason you can't connect is DNS issues.

This. For the others like me, do not bother trying to fix it, they probably do not like you (aka ip block). Try your luck in some hours...

It fixed my connection issues went from 96k to 554 k/sec just had to restart from beg...no biggy
