But it looks like the Repair tool is working fine now
I've already downloaded the Mesh_Meshes_003.pak file and now I'm downloading the 220 files left x__x
I REALLY hope the game works after THIS! >.<"
Thanks once again x)

(am EU so no idea if it matters)
Did the install thing normally, downloaded the file till like 4g, then got an error saying not enough space (before it went downloading I had like 7g free, so basically 3g left, enough for the download to finish downloading the file..) And now I made enough space free, up to 30g basically and it keeps saying I have not enough space, I was hoping to be able to restart it by moving the downloaded file off to another directory on a different disk.. but it keep saying the exact same error over and over in an instant when starting, not enough space, even on my 1TB disk where around 823gig is free...
Keeps giving me the exact same error whether there is the file or not (broken or not..) Even restarting windows vista and uninstalling/reinstalling had no effect at all.. Setting the region in the launcher to Europe gives another error, unable to download installation information, aka not helping either...
I have no clue how to fix this, any kind of help is welcome..

The downloader goes to 100% and then crashes with this error message. Anyone else have this problem?

EDIT: I went into that temp folder and ran a .bat in there and it worked. Something isn't right in HideUpdate.vbs but the .bat file that was created still worked and it put Aion in my NCsoft launcher.

Well I know why it stopped the first time you tried. While you're downloading the client it also starts installing right away (that's the top bar - bottom bar is download progress), so by the time you'd downloaded 4gigs the install-in-progress was taking up another 3-4 gigs, ergo you ran out of space. As a rule of thumb always have at least double the space available that the full install is claiming to need (so if it will be 8Gb make sure you've got 16Gb+ free).
I don't know why it would still say this after you've cleared some space so you've got 30gb free.. If it's not what Aleste said, maybe a defrag of the hard disk would help. Or you could try the alternative method suggested in the original post.

I made the Aion directory in the NCSoft directory of Program Files. Aka the default directory since I was unable to get the install process restarted again and it thinks that the install was broken. Went on fixing with downloading every file separate.. My C where Vista is installed (and now Aion as well) is NTFS.. Kinda ironic actually.. On FAT32 it downloads the the compressed file which is not supported and on NTFS it downloads everything separate which can handle it..
One note you might want to add is for European users to switch Region to Europe after install and then install the Aion game which is not in the 'Installed' games list (Aion (US) should be there). while keeping the original game. It is annoying.. Since it installs the US client by default ><

Am i right in thinking that i can just switch the launcher back to EU and will be good to go come friday night?
I have a theory about trolls. The reason they spend all day on the internet is because if they go outside they'll turn into stone...

My wifes PC has 200GB of free space, but the installer is saying "not enough diskspace"
Any pointers?
http://help.ncsoft.com has no answers. :(
EDIT:
I'm just downloading the compressed file, only going to take about 4 hours, where the launcher (after 400MB or so downloaded was saying over 350 hours).
I'll update if it works on both of our machines. :)

It says it's "configuring your new software installation" but the bar isn't moving at all. Any idea what's going on?
either wait or force quit, then reinstall?

Most likely the same problem I had. Compressed it is over 4gig which FAT32 cannot handle. Download to an NTFS (or any other filesystem that can handle files bigger then 4g such as the linux extended3 system) and unpack to the place you want it installed. In the installer right click on the Aion from the menu. Select 'Properties' and then point the aion.bin location to where you unpacked. That should solve your problem.
Also you did not mention but I assume your Wife's HDD partition is set to FAT32 as well? Since it is almost exactly the same to what I had.
EDIT: If the file is exactly 4,194,304 KB or 4,294,963,200 Bytes (right and check properties) then it is at the maximum size and you need NTFS (ugly as hell imho) or EXT3 (linux) or another partition type that can handle files bigger then 4 gig.
