Since everyone else was being so helpful adding new information, I’ll add something also.

I made a graphic to help illustrate the different character customizations that were available in the GC2007 video. The video shows different tattoos, hair colors, and facial features. The male face second from the right looks like Yagami Light from Death Note.

Yes, this is a nice start for beta, but too many korean MMOs give you 3 faces and 3 haircuts. Thats just plain not enough to diversify yourself. There needs to be more beyond that, too. I mean, Tabula Rasa gives you like.. 50 different face choices and a good 10 hair styles, but everyone's build is still the same and the armor makes everyone almost identical anyway. I am really loving the idea of choosing your weapon and armor graphic, though. An excellent idea.

I loves it, all of it! The hair needs darker shades, no doubt they will have them, the eye colors are delicious, again need more darker shades.

The tattoos are beautiful, I don't really like the pattern on both sides of the face though, it could just be early show dds files tend to repeat one thing on the other side of the face. But it'd be nice the sides were a bit different, one side with a smaller version or just a dot ect..

Choosing makeup too, yay!

I vote you release the character creation part as a program itself before Beta/launch so we can sit in front of the computer for hours humming the Aion music and making hundreds of characters. If only so we know exactly what we want and can get into the beautiful world the first second possible =P

I've always wanted to see a stand-alone program for making characters for CoX, too. Just for giggles, you know?

Actually there is dark skinned characters in a vid mark posted recently. It was a dark skinned guy with pink/red hair.

I am totally against facial tattoes but tattoes on your arms, legs, chest, back would be nice to have similiar to MxO.

The number of options would have to be massive for everyone to be individuals...and there would always be some 'perfect' characters... certain faces/hairstyles look better than others...
