Just wondering what I should be tossing into my weapon/armor sockets , I am looking for suggestions on which stones to use for PVE DPS . Not sure what is good for us : /

Can't comment on pure DPS, but I'd guess just going for mostly crit might be ideal. For leveling I've been mixing HP, crit and parry. Though parry doesn't seem too effective when I'm having to fight mobs higher level than myself.

Generally the consensus is straight crit but I've been doing some work with a crit/parry mix involving the crit cap limits.

That will be my aim, max crit out but don't then waste manastones on crit if they'll have no further effect.

ahh ok , I was actually going to start on +attack even b4 thinking about crit ....wanted to see if there was any way i can increase my overall dmg per swing opposed to relying on a crit here and there .

Well that would do it, but I think you'll find crit stacking to just be more effective for damage. Crit stones are also a lot more common.

This is one of the few places where I've found a flaw in class mechanics versus general mechanics. The fact that we get p.att boosting skills would suggest that our primary stat would be p.att but thanks to the way crit on a staff works with knockdowns and such we're far better off with the crit first. Its always bugged me somewhat since the first day I tested it.

My opinion is crit to cap, then either parry or health. Its nice knocking a mob down 3x times a fight! That always helps in pvp too!

No NPC sells them, they are random drops from monsters. You can find plenty of them on the Broker. If you didn't find any, that could be because the Beta client (and the Chinese 1.0 client) has a bugged Trade Broker interface, and searches are case sensitive. Try searching for "Manastone" instead of "manastone".
