Hi everyone, just wanted to let you all know that the new version of the armory should be up and running. Most notable in this patch is the addition of 3d models to almost every item in the DB! This feature is still in beta, so not everything is aligned/rotated correctly, but perfection will come in time :) I'll be updating this post here in a few with a full changelog of new things. Enjoy!

- Users can now edit their own guides and delete their own screenshots
- The gatherable objects list should now have much less duplicates

- Added filters for "Has Screenshot/Comment" to most entities
- Added many new filters to npcs, items, quests,spells, and more
- Added Skill chain info on the skills page including chain order, chance to chain, chain time, and more
- New Page ( Entity Unhider ) where people can unhide npcs, items, quests that are currently not visible in the Database
- Many other small fixes/features

Get dressed for Gamescom 2009
Many characters have been conceptualized, created, forgotten, remembered and loved throughout the many years we've been making games. If you are planning to visit gamescom in Cologne (Germany) this year, take an extra step, come dressed as a character of any NCsoft game listed on the official NCsoft website and join us on stage. The stage will highlight you in all your magnificent glory to the crowds of fans in front of it and let you enjoy the fruits of the hard work put into the costume's creation.
There are no restrictions on what type of costume you are allowed to wear as long as we and the crowd can recognize it from one of our games (see website above). Come in a beautiful sorcerer's gown or in a combat-ready full plate armor (which would also offer protection against the goodies we'll manically be throwing out from stage) or whatever else (Shugo anyone?) you can think of. The sky's the limit.
We'll however not let the happy winners of our costume competition leave the stage empty handed. Basking in the glory of victory is a reward in its own, but do you know what also is? Physical prizes. That's right - the friendly folks over at Razer will provide us with some high quality gadgets to distribute amongst the top-tier contenders. They might be a tad too high-tech for your costumes but will most likely connect perfectly to your PC at home. We know that you wouldn't want to keep your PC waiting - so you better start sewing your outfit right now.
The costume competition takes place on Sunday, 23rd of August 12:00 local time (Cologne) at our booth (Hall 9). Please drop by earlier and talk to one of our staff members for final confirmation regarding schedule and prizes.

Remember to come to Comic-Con!
For those of you fortunate enough to be making your way to San Diego in one week (July 22-26), the amazing Comic-Con awaits at the San Diego Convention Center. Much joy is to be had should you choose to go there, and in particular, should you stop by Booth #5005 where we will proudly be showcasing Aion and distributing an array of much coveted goodies. If the two words "beta keys" make you nod frenetically in agreement, if the prospect of Aion t-shirts makes your heart pound faster than you're used to, and if you have a sacred spot on your bedroom wall for an exclusive poster by Hyungjun Kim, you will definitely want to be there. Members of the Aion Team, including Producer Brian "Xaen" Knox, Associate Producer Lani "Liv" Blazier and Community Manager Sebastian "Ayase" Streiffert will of course be present if you have questions, compliments or are simply up for a chat about the Aion we've all grown to love.
We are incredibly excited to see many of you there and are already in the middle of careful preparations to make sure that once the convention ends - you'll be leaving with great memories.
