Hey everyone,

I heard about a somekind of Hero Feature and i was having my doubts about them, i mean .. Their simply overpowered people kicking everyones *** after they (usually) grinded their way up to Hero..

or .. Am i totally wrong here? I had several MMO's being screwed up because of Heroes etc.

atm the only thing we know is that thanks to pvp you can increase your rank and become some kind of hero, but that's all.

As a Hero ur be like a Raidboss that need many ppl to defeat.

i think u can XD but i think to be a hero u have to play many hours a day to be a hero next day to and not anyone other XD and i think with some ppl 5+ u can defeat the hero XD it will be fun =P

HEY! Got another question. The skills, i saw a list and of those skills were around lvl 1-10 :S I didnt see any of higher level.

Whats the deal with that?

Very very retardedly low, like almost every Korean game. :<

I'd say you could get by on a GeForce 5600 a 1.3ghz processor and 512 ram, but the free space recommendation is retarded high. o.o 20 gigs...

Also, just because you earn the "hero" status through PvP doesn't mean everywhere you'll be the same effect of hero. They might choose to make you "raid boss" like to NPC but only give you a small edge on players. All of this is still unknown and a million people could speculate a million different things.

We'll just have to wait and see!

20gb? Lol. That's... quite something compared to the rest.

And you should never really look at the min specs; but the recommended,, and you generally want to be above those even for a game to be playable smoothly. But that's just me.

There's no such thing as "earning hero status."

Certain affluent players may be endowed with a "hero" status by NCsoft itself, but not anyone can just grind to get it. It's just an announced feature, we don't know how people actually what it does, other than alert people when you enter a zone.

It sounds interesting, It would basicly be a slightly over-powered player. I'm guessing it is balanced by the announcement that you have entered a zone, then everyone wants to kill you. :D

Nearly sounds like "Grand Marshall" status in WoW. One of the interviews I thought mentioned something about making these "Raid Boss" pvpers as an objective. Lol, can you imagine a "Grand Marshall" where he/she was on the top of everyones hit list. That would make for some crazy pvp at the higher pvp ranks.

grand marshall only meant more honor points...hopefully someone that high in aion will spread more fear than aiming the zerg of the battle :p

Yet you always knew who it was that had the gear...

I believe that Aion's concept will be more than just a status. I was just using the Grand Marshall rank as an example of "O, great! Here comes another death!" concept. But the assumption of a pvp hit list was really where I was wanting to go. This elite status would interest more pvpers. Can't say I want to be left all only with us a player, lol.

not really since someone with T3 or T2.5 back then was as efficient.. it only meant the guys spent his time in BG's and also that it worth killing..

go try DAOC when someone high raked spread fear because you know he got some kickass skilsl that only he s rank can have ( oh and everyone could have this rank not jsut a ratio of the one people that gathered more point during the week ;))

i think it may be quite good if the hero thing was just a temporary thing, like your chosen to become like the raid boss until killed, or your "heroness" runs out. but i have no clue.
