:hmm:

I'm so confused. So my friend and i both pre-ordered Aion from a retail shop and got a beta-key from them. This is presumably the North American version, so i was surprised when my friend was made to downloaded Aion (Europe) using the NCSoft Launcher ??! Does this mean we will be playing on different servers??? He on the Europe server, and i'll be on the NA server??! Or does it not matter and he will be able to join the NA server regardless? He tells me he is able to download Aion (North America) as well.. Is there a difference?

:hmm:

no there is not a diffrence in the launcher (i dont think) but if you got NA keys you can change the launcher to go on the NA server
by loading the launcher then going File--Settings--Advanced--then puting the Region in NA

BTW if you go to log in and it says id and pass not correct then its normally means your on the wrong region, if you no they are right

As far as I am informed, there is also an IP Block. So people from europe can't play the NA Version and vice versa.
If there is some more actual information and it has changed, then my pardon.

My friend had "We are sorry but this account does not currently have access to Aion." when he had North America under region settings. As soon as he changed to the Europe region settings and tried logging in, he tells he had no account for that. So i guess we are both playing on N.A. servers :sigh:

"We are sorry but this account does not currently have access to Aion."

Is the standard response when the servers are down, its a very confusing and ambiguous message aint it, but it only means you dont have access while servers are down.
