Anyone know if they plan to increase the 10 char limit on Legion names.

Sure, that probably is more than enough for Asian languages but for English it's a bit short and limiting to 1 word legion names or 2 very short words (4 letter word, space, 5 letter word, ect)

Consider this reply your confirmation. I don't know if this is something we'll be able to get in there for the next event or at launch, but there will be a substantial increase of length for legion names.

As for character names, I'm unsure, there will definitely be convention alterations, but I'll let it remain unsaid whether or not the maximum length will be changed.

It's funny that they limited it to 10 in the first place with some of the titles stretching clear across the screen.

Thats really good to hear. Even my one worded legion 'Tranquility' didn't quite fit with the current character limit.

you're leaving it open as maybe not by launch? No offense to the dev team, but this has got to be on the scale of programable options, about as easy as they come. And if it's somehow not in by launch, I would hope that it would be something that could be changed once after a guild has been created at launch. Though that would make the process more complicated.

Seriously though...i can't believe this isn't higher on the list of to-do's.

Thanks Ayase! Even though ours fits, it's good to know more options will be available to others.

Question: Will spaces be allowed? Our current name in beta is PoeticLaw. We'd like to have that be spaced into two words. :)

I think the intent of the original post is more of "it will be in at launch, just not sure if it will be in by the next beta." I could be mistaken, but that's how I read it.
