In mathematics, a theorem is a statement proved on the basis of previously accepted or established statements such as axioms.

In traditional logic, an axiom or postulate is a proposition that is not proved or demonstrated but considered to be either self-evident, or subject to necessary decision.

Aixon (Axe-on) or some variation.

I guess what the OP or you guys, defending his reasoning against the claims "WoW didnt invent theorycrafting", are missing is the word theorycrafting or theorycraft is not used in WoW because of the same syllable of War"craft".
They couldve called WoW "World of Pillars" and they would still use the term theorycraft. Its a common used term for theorizing about gamemechanics when it comes to games.

This is why the point to come up with a fitting term for Aion "too" is not realy necessary,
as there was no one who decided to find a term describing the "theorizing" fitting to their games name in the first place.

Other than that...:

 Nicely creative, Scaiontology!
but, I only have to even mention that I don't care that it wasn't made to fit WoW, I just mentioned that it "does". Which can't be argued. (On a side note, if it was created in Starcraft, the "craft" part is still there, so it could have been intentional :hmm:)
PS, World of Warcraft, was totally a market strategy to have the game be called WoW -> wow. WoP definitely wouldn't have passed rofl.

AFAIK, Mathammer was used for WAR.

Anyway, theorycrafting fits perfectly. Makes sense in any game with stats involved.
