@ Elliot -- go into yout user CP and revert back to v1 skin .. you can edit in that.
Thanks for the translation btw, looking great so far... Green is a bit much on the blue background.
However, the expections turned into worrys and concerns with the release of Asmodians. The Elyo's enemy race turned out to be near identical to Elyos. Everything, including the Classes and skills were "completely identical" except for the DP skills. The item stats and even the map structures were similar. But then again, it IS closed Beta... anything could happen before release.
But once again.. its only closed beta ^_^
물론 개발사 측에서는 설정 상의 이유를 내세워서 마족과 천족이 ‘같을 수밖에 없음’을 강조했지만 유저들에게 이는 단순한 ‘핑계’이상의 그 무엇도 아니었다.
Of course, the dev team claimed that the game's story setting meant Elyos and Asmodians to be similar, but to the players, this was nothing more than an excuse.
I sorta figured that they would be the same quests and such.. it only makes since if you follow the storyline... but i can see how it would disppoint some players who were expecting WoW 2.0. I did however, expect the animals to be a bit different, glowing eyes maybe, more furry or something.. considering the plant live and asmodians themselves changed and adapted to teh enviroment... why didnt the animals? But then again, its only closed Beta ^_^

The b*tching about the game seems to be about idiotic things(srsly both sides are the same to me sounds awesome), thats good to hear.
the only thing that worries me is
But seriously, how can you judge a games pvp while not at end game, of course its gonna be levels and gear thats gonna make the majority of the difference. But it still worries me, if the game goes the opposite direction of marchosias' dream of equality and isn't skill based that will ruin the game for me. But overall this seems to be good news so far.

Especially, the oversimplification of the RvR, relying on only stat and gear rather than control skills, was a critical con for Aion.

call me a simpleton, but if those are the complaint being thrown at Aion, then im one happy camper... seriously, if the game has that kind of polish/visual appeal/and content in CB, imagine what we'll have after 1 or 2 content packs, or updates? :)
forgot to add, thanks elliot!

Thanks, it works!
Well, the original post had it green. I thought instead of going through the crisis of deciding on a color myself, I'd just keep it the way the original poster meant it to be : P
Why do humans move in mobs when birds fly in formations?

Well I hope the DEV's will fix the issues, clearly the game isn't ready for a close release. The issues don't seem too bad there still in CB status so most things can be modified/fixed. Only thing I'm a little disappointed is that stats grow without you doing anything when you level. I'm sure they could have made something different.
Aion's main feature was flight but currently many games are offering free flight, now the feature that makes them most stand out is the PvPvE and Aerial combat(Which we haven't seen in some time...).

Thanks for the translation:). Interesting review of closed beta. I am a bit disappointed that the elyos and asmodians arent that different from each other. But it makes sense since they stem from the same race. I was hoping for different armor, storyline missions, and quests. With the monster's being similiar do they mean reskinned or are they the same:confused:? I think it was kinda early to judge PvP considered that the REAL PVP doesn't start till endgame. I don't like it when pvp centers around who has the best weapons and armor over who has the best skills and tatics. Other than that this review was great can't wait to read the rest:D.

They're the same. And that's one thing that really disappoints me. NCsoft took all that care to create original monsters and didn't bother to create different monsters for different starting zones.
One thing that bothered me is that they said the starting zones were identical. And I'm not sure if they just meant the creatures or if they meant the environment too. I want a reason to try out the other faction. But if they're basically the same, then there goes some extended playability right there.
Glad to hear that they capitalized on content, though. Huge plus, but I would definitely like to see some more polarization reached.

You can see in the sunshine's video some environments and there aren't identical. (ice/desert, ruins/forest, ect..)
