PVE i think the 2 scout can be hard. You cannot sleep while playing them.
PVP it all depend at wich lvl of skill you are figthing. But in PVP it's nevers easy for anyone when you are facing poeple that knows what they do.
Healer : need to heal while being under heavy fire.
Melee : you need to be in range to hit the ennemy while being in range of your healer (not speaking of wich skill you should use in top of that at what time)
Range : you have to maintain range with ennemy while beeing in range with healer, if the ennemy "catch" you, you are toast.
I'dd say the learning curve is a bit more difficult with the scout, but to play a class really well in PVP, i don't think one is more difficult than an other. Having perfect knowledge of the use of skill of your class and being able to use them when you want as you want is the baby steps for PVP.

people have been saying to stay melee untill lvl 19 with a ranger, any truth to this statment?
No... you'll rock at around level 16 (and earlier) with your bow. It's safer and you'll kill faster. Don't make the mistake of "only" using a bow though, like some others say. You'll be best using both.

Yes this is very true. They get arrow strike at 16 which helps using the bow a little bit but not much.
And another thing i wouldnt say scouts are the hardest, just a pain in the ***.

Rangers get easier at 16 (plan on switching bow/melee) and even easier at 19. Sins take a little longer to get going. All classes have a level range where they are slow going. The scout classes just hit it earlier then others.
Why did the chicken cross the road?
