Q. OMG, this game looks awesome, where can I download it?

A. Nowhere, yet. The Korean closed beta started October 27th, and is still in progress. We don't have any news on dates for open or international betas.


Q. Will this be released outside of Korea?

A. Would NCsoft be wasting precious manpower on a community team for European nations if it wasn't? Didn't think so. There, you answered your own question. ;)


Q. How much will Aion cost? For a subscription?

A. Aion will probably be price competitively and comparatively to other big-name MMOs.


Q. What are the system requirements for Aion?

A. The current Minimum system requirements for closed beta are:

• CPU : Pentium 4 2.8GHz or AMD Athlon 2800
  
• RAM :512MB
  
• VGA :GeForce 5700 or Radeon 9600, DirectX 9c or higher
  
• Hard Drive: 20GB available space
  
• Windows XP or Vista

The current Recommended system requirements are:

• CPU : Pentium 4 3.0GHz or AMD Athlon 64 3000
  
• RAM :1GB
  
• VGA :GeForce 6600 or Radeon x1550, DirectX 9c or higher
  
• Hard Drive: 20GB available space

Q. How about the classes for both of the races?

A. There has been a discussion on it here.


Q. Combo attacks?

A. Yup, and there is also a Divine Power gauge. Check it out here


Q. How is XP gained?

A. It has not be confirmed. Probably per hit, like Divine Power.


Q. What is PvPvE? PvP or RvR or both?

A. Most likely it will be some flavor of RvR. PvP aspects of the game has not be confirmed.

Watch the videos more carefully. Especially the 8 minute one where its clear that you don't get exp per hit. You get exp after kill of monster, and they also didn't get exp when they kill-stole from someone else.

Nice post , and btw : anything flight combat yet??? I read an interview with one of the main directors and it said that he wanted to make that more realistic to , but is this confirmed yet??

Yes, aerial combat is in there. The korean gaming site THISISGAME had a video showing a short sequence of aerial combat. I think you can find a stream of it somewhere on this board, or a download in my signature.

i've only seen a movie with exp / kill haven't seen a mov wich gave the char's exp a hit..

I couldn't quite decipher that post "Cruzader", but you have certainly missed out if you haven't seen that movie. Aerial combat looks awesome. Almost like I imagine it would have been in "real" movies ;)

Nice job Shiyu! I liked the names, or pre-names I should say for the classes. Hopefully we can find out some more stuff soon enough. Ahhhh, Aion's going to be so good.....
