So, upon some Googling, I found Gamepath. As soon as I got it working, the lag went 100% away and I have not lagged a single second since. The only issue is that every once in awhile I will randomly crash. This issue is caused by WideCap and currently Gamepath is working on a solution for the Aion client. According to them, the only fix is using Proxifier, not WideCap. But apparently Proxifier costs like $40.... so I personally just deal with the crashes.
Even if your latency lag isn't unplayable, I still think this is worth testing if you have any high latency at all. If you have like 1/2 second delays whenever you do anything in the game, this can fix that by finding the best gateway for you to use to reach NCSoft's servers.
I wrote detailed step-by-step instructions on how to get this working properly. I suggest taking a look at them, as I played for about 12 hours thinking it was working and it wasn't. Once the lag picked up again and I thought I wasted $6, I realized I screwed up installing it lol. After I fixed the issue the lag went away and I was overcome with joy!!

Also, there should be no worry about getting in trouble for using this software. Ayase (community rep) suggested doing just this and seeing if it fixed the lag. And all of the programs used are clean and malware/spyware free.
EDIT: Gamepath added an Aion category. So instead of choosing WoW, choose Aion North America (or Europe)
Hum.... Are you sure it is safe? I saw another post saying that it is official, NC is banning ppl for using this proxies servers.
I wish that Ayase himself could post a clarification about this.
