have a small problem here
wondering if there are more ppl that are having it

updated aion today with ( AION_Patch_V1.2All.exe ) for 1.2
it updated launched it and gamegaurd started updating

but it gives me this msg :(:(:(



if anyone knows the solution let me know plz

region 1 /israpel

logged on to region 3
got passed the gamegaurd prob and logged in :D:D:D
but cant log in on region 1 yet game hang after login :(

gonna try tommorow again have fun yall with 1.2

its lost in translation

i've just had that msg and my browser opened with an explanation for the error

i was shown a gameguard website with the error explanation

it was one of the 'failed to update' errors... tried again after installing the english patch .exe and gameguard patched successfully

Anyone got some more info on this I getting the same thing and what's been listed so far hasn't helped


Attention Fixed :::: I just keep deleting the gameGuard folder till it finally patched all the way so just keep at it

Had the same problem and this worked for me also, just went into my L10N folder, deleted the old English pak, gameguard worked and installed correctly after.

I have the wonderful "This game is not available in your country." error after the game launches, it pops it's ugly head up right before the login screen loads, I don't have an ENG pack in the L10N folder and I've tried restarting, any other ideas? I'm starting to get pissed...

Hi, jus trying to help... i read from the chinese SDo site: there is 1 more way u can try, if u have a ENU.pak or Japanese Voice install in L10N folder, remove it.

Then u go into a CHS folder and u will see a cc.ini remove or move it outside the gamefolder to somewhere else.

And that should work according to what the site says. :)

I have the same problem except I haven't used that patch (gotta be wary). I've done what the above posts have said and still no luck.

I got the same error (only once tho, worked fine after trying the second time) and it also opened a gamguardpage in my browser. And this site said it was an error during update of gamegard. Then it listed some ways to fix it. But what I'm just saying is that are likely gameguard failing to update and nothing else.

The first time I tried running Aion after patching,
I got an error message - "This program is unavailable in your country"

Then I deleted the cc.ini file in the Aion folder and ran the game again.
Since it's missing that file, it repatched and worked.
Then I reinstalled my English pack :)

Had the same, too. After I did everything as supposed to I got the error, too. My last step though, and that is how I got it working, was installing the august english patch again (so actually 2 times). Then gameguard loaded a bigger file then usual before getting the error. Now it works fine.

Here are the steps I went through (which at the end it was working).

First I tried deleteing cc.ini, which caused the launcher to reinstall something. Game was in Chinese again so I reinstalled the Update_ENU_Zone10_21072009.exe file. Then I got the "unavailable in your country error" again.

So, after that I hit the verify files button, which is right underneath the big launch button. Again, the game launched in Chinese, so I installed Update_ENU_Zone10_21072009.exe again, and lo and behold, it worked.

I don't know why but that's how I got mine going for Region 1.

Thanks for the tips. I deleted the CC. INI and hit the verify files button; ran C-aion in chinese. Then re-install Eng patch and it works.

i have had that same trouble...
the thing is... i have done anything you said but sitll have not run well.
here i leaft a picture that shown lats time i tryed...
i'm chilean, and i try setting cc.ini whit my zone, but still not run.
i don't know what to do... i hope you help me with this.
