Does anyone know if there is a keyboard with integrated mouse ?

So that i need to move my keyboard instead of my mouse..
If the keyboard is light enough it could work perfectly, fir the mouse buttons and wheel on the side and top of your keyboard and you can keep your fingers on and near your keys all the time.

It should also give you more immersion since you have to move with both your arms instead of just your right wrist. and with a little excersise it could be just as precise as a mouse. And if its light enough, reactionspeed should be okay.

Could it be there is allready a system like this on the market ?

Don't know names/brands, but there use to be a few combo keyboards out there. They were made more for home theaters, and not really very good for gaming.

Well, you'll never know until you tried if it will work or not.

At first a cart without horses sounded like a bad idea too........
and 15 years ago a grown up that played computer games was viewed down upon as a mentally disturbed.


Just open your mind take your current keyboard (if its a light one) at the office and move it around, now imagine moveing your character through an MMO world.

Trackball Forever!

Actually..as someone who has been doing online gaming for longer than some MMO have been alive.. I have bad wrists so can't use a mouse for long periods of time.

Lot of ppl don't like them either, but they are actually very fast and accurate with little movement needed. Have a nice logitech laser trackball atm does very well for me.

A keyboard with an accelerometer etc would prob only work for Wii games, IMO :) ...so its bound to come out before long.

I was more thinkling of a keyboard with a lasermouse mechanisme in the bottom.....


And i don't mind people diagreeing with me in general...
But if you think its a retarded idea, then please explain why you think it would not work, at least that way there would be a bottom to start an ineteresting discussion
