I laughed more at the number of people who think they have to defend themselves for playing a female character. The only people who care what gender your toon is are homophobics and insecure teenagers.

I agree. I wouldn't take a second glance had many of them said "eh, I just decided to" or "I like the animations or looks" but instead it became "I did it because I'm not a homo."

I was never too much one for creating female characters. Then I asked a friend who always created female characters why he does it. He said because if he is going to be spending all of his time in game looking at his character, why would he not want it to be female? Makes sense to me but I like others feel a large disconnect if I am not playing my own gender.

I'm a female on all of my characters because it takes too much work to make a non flamboyant male character and as all I do on my female characters is name -> big boobs -> skinny -> asian pony tail -> log in.

But I also don't enjoy staring at a male character hours on end when killing the same mob. sooo flamboyant males aren't the only reason.

I don't care about my gender, but about looks (yes, call me gay, to get it over with, kthx). So I did a male Templar and I did a female Sorcerer. Why?

Because, as templar, you look the same with helmet and without. So you can hide those earrings, which are - sadly - not optional, but displayed all the time. Yeah, that is my only complaint on male characters.

I did a female Sorcerer, because of the look. It suits the mage class, since cloth is incredibly "skirtlike" in Aion. Perhaps, I am using a gender change and name change voucher, when I got full Miragent. It just looks silly on female chars (it should be about robes and magic and not miniskirts and tanktops). If I'd like to see a walking porn star, I switch off Aion and go youporn

I almost everytime play a female char(i`m a guy ofc).There are games in which males look better(like in Jade Dynasty the Modo class),in Rohan and in Aion aswell.
I started as an Asmo Male Sorc then switched to an Elyos Female Sorc.
Why I play female chars is because I like to see her boobs,ass,beautiful face etc instead of watching a man.Of course,many ppl chose to play a Male because they think that they are the characters.
And also..for me depends on the class what gender I play.If its a sorc I play a female,ranger male,assassin female,temp/glad male,cleric/chanter female.

my main is a big male to show off with the "soon to be crafted" balic items.
my alts are all female though, cause they look sexeh and have big boobs, especially the female flash daeva set.
