I wouldve preferred not to have body root / magic block but slowing shackles + pain of hell is a no-brainer for me. Fear shriek was for emergencie's, with the new patches I think countercurrent will be able to do "some" spike damage too ontop of the buff stripping so I think it might be worth using as a "nuke" so to speak. The DoTs dont stack with other SM's but how often have you found yourself in a party with more than one SM? No matter what its really important to have both slowing + hell for me in PvE its just too good not to be worth it. Wish I didnt have to have the crappy stigmas to equip it, but can always make a use for them I guess.
Slowing shackles debuff benefits most classes which is a huge + in party utility for SM's even without a party I think its too important not to have. Could possibly change to wind servant + slowing shackle stigma build might provides some advantages over this build but at the minute i think pain of hell is too great of a DoT to give up :S
Anyway thanks for your opinions and "criticism"? not really criticism but still ;x itll give me something to think about, might look more into a way of servant + shackles after food.
I've ended up more harsh than I wanted in the end. Indeed the build is probably very good for PvE. I just think the pet buff itself might be a too important asset in PvE to pass by.
But the bright side you know is that on your build, you have a single level 50 stigma and all the others are level 45. So, in part or in full, you'll have to try a mixed or a a build without Pain of Hell at least when you PvE from 45 => 50 :)
For that phase, since I don't think Magic Countercurrent is worth it for the spike damage, and since you get 1 less stigma slot, assuming one can get the 3 bonus slots before level 50 (that one is to be determined) :
- Magic Block
- Body Root (yes, Slowing Shackles looks too useful to pass up)
- Weaken Spirit
- Strengthening Spirit: Recovery
( IMHO, for a PvE build, those 4 stigmas are poor choices :/)
- Slowing Shackles
- Strenghtening Spirit: Armor of Boosting
- Fear Shrieck or Cyclone of Wrath (if playing in a good group, you won't need to Fear Shrieck often and might be OK without. So the added DPS you get from Cyclone of Wrath might better)
Mmmm, this doesn't look satisfying :/ the prerequirment stigmas for spiritmaster are more trouble than their worth.
