AionSource.com and Curse form partnership (ftw)!

Curse also supports other large fansites such as Warhammer Alliance. They're pros at what they do and already are helping AionSource.com grow and evolve, as evidenced by Zyuu's activity in the community and our recent server move. If you haven't heard of Curse before I encourage you to check out their website right now. They recently released WoWDB, a direct competitor to Thottbot and Wowhead. Curse developed this new skin you are seeing right now. They also helped move AionSource.com to a dedicated server in the span of a night. Like I said, they're good. What does Curse get out of this partnership? Your patronage, hopefully, and recognition as a kind of modern-day MMO philanthropist.
So AionSource.com just got upgraded from Coach to First Class on the Aion fansite plane. It's still the same site you know and love, but now we have a bit more more clout. We'll get more features, more exclusives. The only direction to go from here is up, Aion fans. I'm no scryer, but I predict a massive surge of content and visitors soon, driven by the gaming media finally "discovering" Aion. The sky's the limit, nearly literally. Let's fly together.
If you have any questions or concerns, post them. I'll try to answer them to the best of my ability.

But question, since the merger, are we going to see alot more of:
Well, we have these amazing exclusive screenshots and if you just go register at Curse you can see them!
I really hope not. I love Curse, they helped quite a bit during my WoW days, but I don't want to see AS become someone's *****.

Good job, Mark and the team.
I noticed advertisement, I just hope it doesn't over-take the website.

Like only serious discussions?
We're only partners with Curse at the moment. Our same rules apply, and they're damn good rules. Read 'em here: AionSource.com - Announcements in Forum : News & Announcements

The ads aren't functional right now. They're pretty much how I'm paying Curse back for all this. There shouldn't be too many. Probably just that one for a long time, unless I'm forced to put more on. I know the guy who will be selling our ad space. He's a good guy. I had lunch with him, actually. I'm sure he won't sell the space to just anybody. ;)

No no, I like them!
What I meant is, with some sites, they want to hold a certain high level of Professionalism. So, any discussion that isn't perfectly on-topic and perfectly serious gets the boot. I was just hoping that that wasn't going to happen with AS.

Zyuu's generally a lot more strict than I am on you guys, but that's just his "style". My "style" is laizzes faire, comparatively. But that's Zyuu's job, really. He gets paid for what he does, which is post news on Curse and watch AionSource.com (watching us is optional, he took pity on me tbh). ;)
