I haven't had a chance to try any of the betaas, and i just want to know which class is the most damage dealing (single target)? My guess would be assassin, but i want to be sure.

From what I've seen in OB: Rangers, Sins and Sorcerer's are bretty Powerful but SM and Gladiator is not bad either. The Healer classes obviously do less damage but are harder to kill....

Can't say for sure tho what class is the most Powerful in damage dealing tho. Maybe Ranger?

Sorc, Ranger, Assassin and glad are all good one target damage dealing at lower levels.

assassin = single highest dps class

sorc = single highest ranged dps

However, while sorc may take about 3 - 4 seconds to cast a 5 - 6 k damage spell, rangers can use burst dmg to equal this out with their own damage. NCsoft has done a good job of balancing the game and the classes, you should find a class you want to play that isn't based on damage alone because it still comes down to gear, skill and determination and if you hate your class, then your gonna fail....

This one speaks truth.

Also, this is a MMO. Things can and do change. The class that does the "most damage" now, may not by the time you reach 50; and in a game where going 1-50 will likely take you several months, rerolling as the new FOTM class is not terribly practical.

In other words, pick your class on what playstyle you like, not based on what someone on a forum tells you is "best."

MMmm...i wasn't basing any anything off that video, i was intending to show what kind of damage a sorcerer can do...>.<
let me add then.....please don't take the video as anything else but just showing off dmg....the video obviously doesn't display what lvl this sorc is pvping...as you can see dmg varies from every person he fights.....it's just a display of whats possible...

Assasin has very nice burst damage, thats for sure. If im correct sin's do more damage than glads, but than again, they are more squishy.

it has to be sorcs and assassins... i know glads dont go pop like assassins thou... like the other guys said, play what u will enjoy... what if u roll assassin and hate it? thatd sure suck... lol
