So, we're back guys! What happened? Well, my hosting account was temporarily suspended for using too many server resources (that's never going to happen again, because I've set a limit on the forum now) and slowing down other people's sites. Bummer, eh? Not compared to the $160 I shelled out for the forum's upgrade! Pile that on top of $247 that I paid a couple days ago for a custom skin (which will show up later this week) and I'm looking at $407 spent on AionSource.com! :eek: Why are all your posts gone? You can blame me for installing crappy plugins on the old forums that screwed up the install of this upgrade or to can blame Jelsoft for not coding a better upgrade script. Your choice.

I'm just as happy as you guys about this development, but I am in no way giving up AionSource.com. We are still the #1 English-language Aion fansite, and I plan on keeping that position.

What can you do to help out? Well, first off, you can re-register and start posting again. That's always a good place to start. You can also refer people to AionSource.com. I might start a contest soon to see who can refer the most new members, or something like that. Can't tell you what the prize will be yet though. :D

Concerning the new skin: we should have it up by the middle of this week. In the meantime, feel free to compliment me on a successful update of the existing skin. :cool: I'm also going to need some new moderators to help keep AionSource.com updated and clean. I already have a few people in mind. I just need them to re-register. Get to it!

Oh, by the way, if you notice something missing that was around before (like certain forums, features, ect.) don't hesitate to let me know! I'm going to try and fix everything back up the way it was as quickly as possible, and you guys are all a part of that. Your ideas and suggestions are important. Please don't be discouraged by the sudden reset. Think of it as an opportunity! :)

Eh ill more than likly manage to pull my Rl friends to this game or some one i know,
Me and all my friends went to L2, Then WoW (which i quit and gave away all my gold ect XD and got banned on pourpose :D so its just me Atm for this game.

I must say it sucks to see that everything got wiped. But personally I actually don't mind it since I just joined the community about a week before...lol...But I do apologize for the people who lost their post counts and such.

BTW Mark, will you be placing up all the media and old updates again? Just curious..lol..I'm so hyped over this game I check the site daily even though I hardly post...But I'm going to change that now since there was a wipe...feels like a clean slate ^.^

I strongly recommend you find your self a other host...

really this site has hardly any trafic yet and the host already disables it for too much trafic so theres no way its going to be useable when Aion comes out... I mean I just spend 10 minutes trying to sign up (read hit F5 all the time cause server was bussy).

There are much better hosts then this one that don't bitch and moan about a bit of trafic.

I changed the limit a little. You should see less of that warning now. I'm looking at other hosts, but most charge crazy fees for any type of dedicated CPU power. I'm going to have to put ads back up. I'll do that by tomorrow...
