In response to the high demand for everything Aion, the NC West team has opened up the first new server since launch just a few days ago! Read on!

[West]Fregion is live! [West]Fregion is the first server to be added after our very successful launch of Aion.A European server and an East Coast North American server are also on the way.

The name “Fregion” has its origin in ancient Atreian lore, taken from the one Drakan that sparked history-altering pretension in the Balaur Empire, eventually leading to The Epic Cataclysm.

[West]Fregion has been set to North American West Coast time and is only the first in a line of servers we are rolling out. Aion has enjoyed tremendous popularity during these first couple of days, and we are aware of the queues on the most populated servers. We hope that our addition of fresh servers to choose from and conquer, for new and old players alike, will help in making these queues shorter and allow even more players to enjoy the game.

We will continue to monitor the situation and maintain the delicate balance between managing busy servers versus overcompensating by adding new servers that may become underpopulated.

Why would people flock to it? It's a new west server, and west already has low pop servers. I don't understand why they wouldn't release a new east server first. East has nothing but high pop servers. /boggle

Yeah I /facepalmed, I didn't even think they were gonna put a new west server just an east one. Regardless the east server should of been first but I guess waiting a day or two for it won't hurt.

We need more EAST servers not west, check the servers imo. I saw like 4-5 at least earlier today all west and all low while all the east were high.

I know Knite said they are rolling out a East server soon, but if it is not this weekend I would be suprised. Because we definelty need a East Coast server before a West Coast Server.

Lets hope the EU server is this weekend. They seriously need it with the game been officially launched here now. Even on the lowest population servers queues are rearing their ugly head again.

So far they've done an awesome job of listening and communicating with the community, keep it up.

Seriously? You made it west? Are you on crack? All of the west servers are UNDERpopulated and have no Queue. ALL the east servers have SEVERE queues.

You really screwed this one up and I'm highly disappointed

It makes me wonder if you people even pay any attention to what's going on with your severs

Still the afk shop fix has helped lessen the queue enough that I'm content with my current server.
