Spiritmaster fear, why is this overpowered ability in the game?

This ability should be curable by a potion, or removed from the game. No player should have the power to make another player completely helpless while still being able to kill the helpless player without the effect breaking.

Right so now you're screwed or your group is screwed without a certain class (cleric) and even then, so what if you have a cleric, the spiritmaster will just use fear on the cleric, then you're screwed anyway. So you need 2 clerics to have any of countering it.
So I guess that unless you have minimum 2 clerics with you, someone will be screwed if the opponent has a spiritmaster, which in small pvp is devistating.

I'm not even talking about 1v1, my situation is 2v3, but this situation would also apply to 3v3, 4v4, 5v5, and 6v6 etc. Having a cleric to cure the fear will do nothing when the cleric itself is the one who is feared. Cleric can't cure while feared.

If anything this ability will be bad for them in the long run. People will start getting more resist gear etc and fear will be liable to fail a lot leaving the sm in a bad position in many fights. I think it would be better to change fear and give them some compensation in an other area so they wont be reliant on it.

well that skill been nerfed so has fear with the anti-fear rings, the thing you have to QQ about is our water summons crash that force a player out of flight mode and sends them falling to there deaths
Just love how people cry about something and dont read up on classes or there skills as I stated above, SM Fear is nerf from the Fear rings (thats if you get one) and Wing Root been nerf to

There's a reason its the most underplayed class in the game. SM damage is poor and they have zero burst dps. But you guys dont' stop and think there might be a reason that they have some of the best control utility in the game, do you? You just cry nerf at every opportunity.
lets nerf rangers because one stunlocked me until I was dead.
lets nerf sorcs because one two shot me.
lets nerf temps because even with fear I can't kill em.
lets nerf assassins because I can't see them coming.
keep whining.
