This is a list of the requirements for all of the work orders for the crafting range as well as their costs.

In blue are the number of items needed and in yellow is the amount that it costs.

To follow this guide, start work orders 5 skill points after they are offered. For example, start the lvl 10 work order when you get to skill lvl 15, start the lvl 20 work order when you get to skill lvl 25, start the 30 work order when you get to skill lvl 35, etc.

NOTE
- This also takes into account failures, which may or may not be the same for you, this is just a guide.
- Costs may also change depending on taxes and such on the server.
- If you buy all of the items ahead of time, you will end up with extra items. This is due to the fact that you will be rewarded some materials for completing the work orders.
- This is written for Elyos. Some professions (cooking) have different ingredients for part of the work orders.

I'm assuming this involves making ONLY the highest work orders?
And it doesn't include selling back excess mats, does it?
And it also doesn't include doing 1-40 with the 1p order, right?

Looks very nice, thanks. 13-14m for all crafts to 399 isn't bad.

Interesting that they're all functionally equivalent in terms of cost.

Correct. This is just for leveling the quickest. By doing this you will get to 399 very fast, but you won't get all of the recipes along the way.

This starts at skill level 15, when you start on the level 10 work order.

Awesome, thanks.
Luckily, the missing recipes can be purchased/obtained from drops. Then again, there are 843 recipes XD Do you know the total number of work orders required?

Great guide, but what has me confused is this:
Cooling Water: 715 = 19,305
Natural Sand for Casting: 233 = 13,048
Lubricant: 98 = 2,646
Steel Welding Rod: 95 = 5,320
Lesser Whetstone: 382 = 10,314
Skill Costs: 3,564

The total list of all materials i need to buy?
Not sure if im being clear here, but when you get your work orders you have to usually buy 1-2 materials, are these the totals and costs of said materials for the praticular workorder?

I reread the intro, nvm sorry

How much of a time sink is it to do 1-40 with the 1p order? When does it get rediculous to even bother? lvl 20..?

Wow, this is what I've been looking for - the general idea of how much I must save to get a nice Armorsmithing. I stopped at about 35 in favor of Alchemy, but seeing how getting to level 200 is about 270k, that's not so much as I had thought.

Amazing guide! I love it

Thank you so much

Just curious, has anyone tested the amounts exactly to make sure they did the conversions the exact same from the Asian version? It could be off a bit

This is a decent guideline, but keep in mind it is not entirely accurate.

I do not know what percentage chance of skillup you were using, but I just leveled from 300-399 armorsmithing today. I would often go several work order turnins with no skill gain which made my journey cost much more than this guide.

Including the 450k upgrade from 299-300 I spent close to 2.1 million. This is a large disparity from your guide which shows 1.3 mil. This is even after regaining some loss from selling all of the 'white' patterns back to the vendor instead of using them (as I would never craft a white to crit green over a green to crit blue item).

On top of all of this; I didn't get the pattern which I need for the final stage of the 399-400 quest. Now I have to continue to grind lvl 390 work orders to even get this pattern to have a chance of continuing. I'm holding off on this, though, until more of my items on the broker sell and I can regain what I lost through this endevor. Not to mention I may as well farm up the several thousand orichalcum it will take me to actually crit the item.

This was just a general guideline, the outcomes are different for everyone. It technically is accurate, but only from the viewpoint of the person who crafted all of the work orders. Also, their prices were cheaper on the server that they crafted on, so that will increase your costs as well.

I think it was more helpful to know roughly how many items you need to buy for the work orders as opposed to how much it costs. Even when I'm following this guide, I buy a bit less than what it says is needed. It will get me 80 or so levels, then I'll start buying 10 work orders worth at a time. That way I don't end up with a ton of materials left over and you get to use whatever materials you got from the rewards.

Not gonna comment about numbers, got alchemy up to 399, but didnt try to add up the costs...BUT, some of the recipes you get from work orders 300-399 VENDOR for up to 27k each. I actualy MADE money from work orders on 300-399...ended up with about 100k more kinah then i had when i started. Luck probably is involved, i did get a lot of recipes, but still, 100k kinah is a lot also. While those might be correct numbers for the cost of mats...keep in mind that you get something for each work order, its not gonna cost you nearly that much in the end.

And about getting it above 399...theres a 399p work order that you must do before NPC will give you mastery quest.

Go to the website for actual breakdowns not the huge group stolen ones.

Nice translation... it's the exact same one Google did.
