400+ Cooking

Originally I had a plan to get my Tailoring to 400 quickly to craft level 33 boots that give very nice stats. I got to 399 only to find out it'd be next to impossible to finish the quest because I need mats off level 48+ mobs to craft items to complete the quest. Well tonight I was grinding and I got a Recipe: Zeller Aether Jelly, which requires 420 cooking and gives 2000 DP upon eatting. I'd very much like to spend the time raising my cooking, but is the Expert quest for cooking as hard as the other crafts? I don't want to invest the time right now if I cannot pass 399 yet again.

Cooking is easiest craft to get beyond 400, the others are freaking expensive. Millions and millions if you cannot gather the stuff yourself.

Problem is 'relative' difficulty.
I am at cooking 399 and I am on the quest, but guess what? My stumbling block comes with how that there's no vital materials available anywhere so that I must force myself to train extract vitality to 399. This has put massive strain on me since we're not even a month in the game, leaving much of the 300 level extracted items lacking a market,
If you decide to do this, expect 1-2 days of doing work orders and have fun getting extract vitality to 399, and then go ahead to hunt Lobnite, Tayga and snufflers for a while, and then somehow figure out how you would grind from 400-420 before you can even begin to use that recipe.

I guess I am the first if not one of the first cooking expert in NAion, so here goes.
You will receive the expert promotion test in 3 segments.
1: do a work order for the governor, easy.
2: make 4 different types of crit dishes, 10x each, with NPC recipe
3: make 4 different types of crit dishes, 10x each, with work order given recipe.
The dishes require gathering at 390p since you WILL have to get your own mats, and don't expect the meat for the mobs to be widely available at all. You will have to go all over the place for these mats and your success rate to crit is about 1/4-1/3. Be sure to gather more than you actually need to do this thing.
Financially speaking, the cost breakdown is as followed:
Extract Vitality, 700kish.
Work order grind, 2.2m
Misc. Expense, 300k+
Est min gross: 3.2m
