Founded in 2006, Mystic Spiral (also known as MYST) started life as a Guild Wars guild focussed on social aspects of gaming. That is, recognising that there are real people behind the in game avatars and that groups benefit from playing together regularly with a consistant membership. Our motto is "Make friends, have fun and get the job done". We accept English speaking members from wherever they are physically based. Our membership in Aion will cover at least 2 continents (Europe and Africa) and as a whole we cover 4 (Europe, Africa, North America and Australasia). Members range frorm age 14 to 50, with most in their early 20s.

In the last 3 and a half years, we've spread and explored a variety of games together, picking up new members along the way. Even those who have left MMOs and other games for whatever reason stick around. We've enjoyed playing games such as World of Warcraft, Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead (and other Valve games) and are enjoying playing Heroes of Newerth as well as still having a presence in Guild Wars. We keep in touch via our forum, Ventrilo server, Xfire and Steam groups, which are all optional. We have around 70 members across the games and those who simply didn't go too far, with a large number of members being involved for over a year. We are seeking to replicate the same success we've had in other games in Aion as an Asmodian legion.

Requirements for members
- English speaking
- Respectful and reasonably mature persons aged 14+. There is a 2 week mandatory trial period for those aged 14-17.
- Sense of humour
- Limited swearing in Legion Chat, with full written English at all times (this means no "u" "2" etc.).
- Active at least once every 2 weeks (we'll change this as we get a feel for activity levels).
- Presence on the EU server "Castor" as an Asmodian.
