Enchanting... is it worth it?

a. Enchantment stones for my level range anywhere from 30-50k per stone
b. the weapons/armor available in a few levels either equate or excel the bonuses given
c. the risk of enchanting... higher the level stone, higher success rate, higher cost
Maybe I'm just doing this wrong, but I don't really see the point to enchanting until it comes to end game items.
Opinions?

On the other hand, let's say you have Hannet's X (level 35 blue, FT quest reward) or Xenophon's X (level 41 gold, very long group/spy quest chain reward). I've been using Hannet's Orb since level 32, and have had it as high as +3, because I've had it for 8 levels and about 60-70 hours of gametime. Xenophon's Orb, which I'll be getting "shortly", will last me the whole way til 50 - for weapons like these it's very worth it to try the enchant, although it'll be much harder to succeed, simply because the "waste" of money is outweighed by the usefulness of an upgraded weapon.
Once you get level 50 golds, of course, you should certainly try to get them to +10, as there simply is no better gear to upgrade to, and you won't have any other needless things (other than consumables) to spend your money on. Just bear in mind that you'll be needing ~lvl 70 enchantment stones to succeed ;D

I've been reading threads about enchanting and want to be accurate on what I've learned so far before attempting to try it in game. Some players have stated that enchanting the level 10 green weapon (free on ascension) is easy to do. Now I want to give this a shot, I'm level 14 now and have saved around 90k to invest in this weapon. So based from the guides etc, I need to use enchanting stones like L15+ for this level 10 weapon, or should I just go ahead and use L20+ enchant stones to be more 'guaranteed' with the kinah I'm about to spend?
Pls. help me on this since I'm really investing most of my kinah on hopefully enchanting this bow so I don't need to buy one for the next levels to come.
I know I'm a bit late in trying to enchant my bow since I'm level 14 but I just read about this recently and this would definitely help me(if the enchanting goes fine) as compared to buying the overly priced bows >.>
Thanks in advance!

If you are sure about enchanting the weapon, rule of thumb is to start with your lowest level stone first, and move on to the higher levels afterwards (this gives you the greatest chance to fail first, when there's no penalty for failure - once you're at +1 or higher, failing drops your enchantment by a level). For greens, I believe the 50% chance rate was at +3, so a level 15 enchantment stone should be fine (~70% success rate), and a level 20 should be automatic success.
That said, though, the level 10 green is a decent weapon, but not one that you will have for a substantial portion of time. You'll get better weapons by your early twenties, and will continue to upgrade consistently until your early 30's (when you obtain the FT quest reward blue). It may not be in your best interests to use so much money on enchantments that will only serve you for a limited period of time. Just consider the costs and benefits before you make your decision, that's really the only advice I can give.

There are few exceptions like if you get an orange weapon you can jack that up +10 cause you should have that a while
I have only enchanted one item at 39 and now I realize I will replace it defintely at 43, granted going to be some time until 43 but I regret doing it.

Ugh, tell me about it. I have no clue where I'm gonna find level 50+ enchantment stones for my Xenophon's Orb; by the time I do I'll probably be closing in on the Miragent's Tome or the Tahabata's Tome, which are completely different animals altogether.

My +10 green gives me 200 more magic boost.... 2.....0...0...
Tremendously more damage and usually means I can kill a mob using one less spell than otherwise.
Stacking mboost to absurd levels is absolutely the best way to level up quick.

Taken from Aion™ Online :: Character & Legion
I think this is wrong and ingame it says 20 magic boost per enchantment level. So it's 400 (+100) really.
I usually disenchant whites and greens from loot, and if the resulting stone is LV30+, there it goes. If it's below, the stone is going to the broker or legion pals.

Can anyone pls. confirm this?
I'll go with this strategy instead of a 50-70% chance considering all the stones cost quite a lot.
Thanks again.:study:

It's a blue bow, so you'd want at least level 40 stones for the highest chances.

From 35+, if you have already pretty uber gear that you are going to use for a while (levelling progress starts to slow down somehwat), start enchanting in small dosages when you have a the spare kinah to do so, but dont get all hung up on needing every item you have enchanted 10x.
For myself, I wont be enchanting any item 10x unless its ultimate top end gear.

You can find enchantment stones all the way up to level 80+, you just have to disenchant a similar item to get them (so for 70+ stones, you need to disenchant 50 golds... suffice it to say they aren't easy to get).
