I'm wandering and, if we can attack the fortress, if a EU legion was in US servers. they could get the fortress while the owners were sleeping! And it would be stupid if we could just attack at some hours of the day. So, it would be better to merge EU and US servers so the legions could have some US players and other EU to defend it. I'm not sure if it is restrict to attack at some parts of the day. So what will we do?

Fortresses aren't meant to be kept forever. Deal with it and win the fortress back the next day, or whenever.

Then each days legions will be using about 1 hour getting the fortress to lose it next day. I deal with it but a bit abd to lose a fortress each day would be begtter to hold then 3 days lol

Well, yes and no. Believe me, holding onto something for several days straight ends up getting boring because you kind of know that they can't take it from you and they already said that the buffs will begin to diminish as the time goes on. Besides, wouldn't you want a little change every once in a while? I would hate to be on the defense all the time.

It's just another aspect that you have to consider if you're running a Legion, if you choose to worry about this, that is. Obviously you wouldn't be able to stop an all out raid from EU players during 4am US time, however that won't happen as often as you think, so it'll be more about having a steady amount of players who are around to keep an eye out on it around the clock. Remember that if an EU Legion took over your Fortress while you were sleeping..just do it back to them later that day?

Exactly. It's more fun to lose it and have to get it back than to have never lost it to begin with.

1 hour doesn't sound as wasteful if you think about how much epic pvp is to be had. The effort to capture a fortress is the goal. Team A captures Fortress, Team A gets a few special things, Team A gets fat, arrogant and corrupt. Team B gives em a nice smack to keep them honest. If Team A can defend their keep, Team A still deserves it. If Team B wipes Team A, Team B deserves the keep. It would be boring otherwise :(

Yep. Where would the fun be in just holding a fortress 24/7?

The only fun I could see holding onto a fortress for that long would be invoking the wrath of the Balaur upon yourself. Either way, fun times had all around.

24/7 = the best. If your legion sleeps, you need your Elyos/Asmo allies to keep your fortress.

RvR is not "Fortress A = Legion A only to defend", RvR is "Fortress A = all your faction defends".

i dont care about 24/7 attack, i just care about having organized/epic fights for the castles, and that you arent on a 24/7 defence. I mean it doesnt make sense to me that the devanion mist sets in after a fort gets a new owner, but not after defenders slay a thousand attackers.

According to last info about sieges in release build: The system won't be the same as it was in beta. A Castle can be captured when it has a Boss Guardian inside it. All Boss-Guardians have their specific respawn timer. All castles'll have different timers for bosses. It was said that there wont be non stop access to a siege of a сertain castle. You won't loose a castle which you captured just yesterday. Bosses will appear more often in evenings and all day long at weekends. Guild cant set a siege time.

It seems to me that they will spawn the same way as L2 epic bosses - no exact time, just an indicative time range

May be they will change it, but that was the newest info about it. And I dont think it's a good idea to play at NA server for EU guild if everything will be as I wrote, sure if they are not crazy nolifers ready to attack castles at 5 a.m. :D

That's a good point, but most hardcore Legions won't be just NA or just EU, they will combine both, so I'm sure the more hardcore players/Legions will be on some of those nights, but definitely not consistently or in bulk to be effective~

Legions like that can cause a problem if they do not restrict the numbers on events (sieges + raids). My L2 alliance was 3 clans of 120 ppl, my clan was half euro, half NA, we had a full euro and full NA clan as well....pretty much a 50/50 split of euro and NA. It means a loss of activity in either timezone....For example a raid boss would spawn in the evening for euros, we would have mainly eurs on then, and be able to organize maybe 70 of the 120 people for the raid, where as other alliances that were 3 clans of all euros would be getting 100+/120 activity
