Not entirely related to this topic but...once you are level 30 you can remodel items of any level. I have done this myself, so yes it's possible to remodel a level 10 item then give it to an alternate character (so long as the item can be traded).

I found the NPC, but since I'm still a level off from remodeling, I can't test it yet. The asmos armor cannot be traded, but if I use its skin on a tradable item, would the resulting item be tradable?

Yes that is possible. If you have lvl 30+ friends who are just too lazy to go, you can buy it for them, then have them buy some crappy white set, and then you mod your images onto the white set and then trade it to your friend so that he can use that white set to remodel his current set.

For any hero under level 30, this becomes a hassle, since they are not able to remodel the items themselves, it'll be useless to remodel a white set to pass on to them (unless they want to wear that white set...). There is a ONE TIME solution to this, and that is to have this sub-30 character give you an unbound set of armor. Then you can remodel it for him/her and trade it back to be bound. Once that is done, however, he/she will NOT be able to trade the armors back to you for further remodeling (ie. if they later bought a new set of armor). They will either have to wait until lvl 30 and remodel their old set onto their new armor themselves, or have you repeat the process again of purchasing the armor and remodeling the unbound.

I have tested both situations above. It definitely works, but is quite a hassle.

Can i ask something? Let's say that i buy the asmodian parts. Then how can i remodel my elyos parts with the asmo ones? I have to go to an npc or something or i need an item like dyes for example? I am 29, so i don't know about remodeling.

One more question. If i buy the lvl 50 asmo set, can i remodel my parts with them or i have to be lvl 50? Thank you!

You can start remodeling at level 30, and I do not believe you have to be able to equip the item to be able to remodel it (so at 30 you can probably use level 50 stuff). Haven't tried it myself.

At level 30 you will be able to remodel at the NPC in Sanctum. He is near the center of the city, next to the Manastone Remover guy. Also at level 30 if you go to Eltnen Fortress, you can get the intro quest for this that teaches you how to remodel items.

As for the level 50 set mentioned in this guide, I don't think you can gain access to the NPC location until you're level 46.

Yeah, I did that myself. I got a full level 23 unbound blue set for my cleric (good till 30) and remodeled it to researcher's for her. Probably gonna do asmo leather for my glad once she gets 30, if not my cleric... depending on how much I like the researcher's lol. :p

That's correct on both parts. But yeah, you can definitely use items that you can't use to remodel. You can be 30 and use a 37 set to remodel, and as long as the target item can be worn, you can wear it. :D

few questions:

Is there any chance for Asmodians to buy these set items?
Are the vendors hostile/neutral to Asmodians?
Has anyone already tried it?
Are there similar NPC vendors on Asmodian side?

edit: hm according to Vormar's edit there is:

Defeated Guardian - Aion

The Defeated Guardian set appears like Elyos armor instead of Asmodian. You can actually get the Asmodian armors already in Asmodai.

For example, the Defeated Guardian Robe (Asmo) set is modeled after the Envious Robe (Elyos) set. As far as I know, Asmodians don't get their armor at the same NPC's. However, I don't know off hand what the sets are called over there in Asmodai, perhaps some Asmodian can point it out? To clear any confusion, the Defeated Guardian sets are of an Elyos design, not Asmodian. For example:

Are all the spawn dates and times (including time of the month) game relative? Like for example my Game calander currently is: 12/12/103 (whatever the hell that is) so does this mean that I have to wait until THAT calaneder goes to 26/12/103 to see the Shugo in the Lepharist camp, or is it relative to real world dates?

/confused...

You could just go the 14th, but yeah. Do the dates go DD/MM/YYY? I thought it was MM/DD/YYY... *shrug*

But anyways, yeah. You gotta go at those dates (in-game time, not real time).

Just got my set yesterday took me less than an hour :)

The one in FT is easy to find just go during nite time after 12am only the the other dude is tough.

For the Lepharist citedel just jump down the side u will still be able to click the shugo.Found mine 430 pm on the 6th south side.

Some said that he spawns on the 6th 12-4 pm North but I waited none.. so I decided to go south for 1 last try and bam he was there :P bought 3 sets from him now my sin looks cool.

The remodel dude is in the middle of sanctum.Just go straight ahead from the teleport dude and u will find the dude.Forgot the name :(

Very simple instructions just put the item u want to keep and the other is to be destroyed. It states it very clearly.

Good luck.

Time in Aion is relative to what in the real World, seeing as I work 6 days a week 9/10 hours a day I'll have to plan when I'm going to try and find this last Shugo ( in the Leparhist camp). So how fast do days go in Aion? Last night when I was playing it was the 12/12/103 - so the next date he spawns is on the 14th I believe. I just need to know when that will be relative to real world time :/

Been meaning to do this for a while but have always been lazy

Asmo chain set.

Note: the legs are actually Mercy Chain Greaves. I chose it mainly because it did not alter the overall appearance of my asmo armor much.

what about if you update an item in your gear for example, your shoulders get out of date and you get new ones.. can you use these old already remodeled shoulders as an source for your new shoulders in remodelling? :)
