No, that isn't the correct mob. He spawns at the very end of the Mist Mane area, near the Abyss Portal. He is level 45 I believe.

He summons adds at 75%, 50%, and 25%. The Adds cannot be CC'd, and they are elite mini-versions of himself. These alone would wipe your 6 man party of -40's at 75% HP of the boss. That doesn't even factor in his AoE's that melee must dance, his stone curse (targets healers often) that must be dispelled by a clerics, and his mass sleep that hits pretty much everyone within a 25m radius (or farther).

It requires a co-ordinated raid effort, several clerics for healing the main tank, the DPS, and for dispelling curses. A Main-tank and an Off-tank, and preferably several other Gladiator Off-tanks to try and pull spawned adds of the healers.

Doesn't sound like your mob does it?

I admit to being frustrated at drop rates but seriously, I am glad that they are the way they are. Rare items are..well..rare. We just come from an entitled society where MMOs in the past have had the loot feederbar approach. Come here, do X task, get Y loot. I will stick with Aion and its "crappy" loot system. It gives you goals to achieve and doesnt hand them to you.

And Snyk, if it dropped a green are you telling me that you still wouldnt be complaining that this mob "only dropped a green"? Yeah, I thought so.

I think all named mobs, elites and boss mobs at the very least should give a substantial kinah reward... that isnt divided up 6+ ways.

Nah, I think it's great that NCsoft isn't buying into the "ez mode" way of thinking. Of course they COULD have done that, it's extremely easy to change loot tables; it's at the touch of a button. Stop blaming "Chinese/Korean" racist BS, things shouldn't just be handed to you.

I have to agree 100%, though I think in the case of something like a full raid boss it would be sporting to have it drop lesser grade loot commonly and the superb stuff rarely. Would it be wrong for killing a raid boss to reliably drop a blue piece or two? Nah, they did earn that. Make the gold pieces rare drops. That way you get the lesser prize (maybe, haha...after all there are a bunch of you there) for the kill but to get the really good, rare stuff means you did it and you got lucky. I'd like that system.

Fire Temple didn't bother me. As soon as I saw it was a rare drop system I knew everyone gouging their eyes out trying to farm that place was a chump. I ran it, but only casually, only a few times a night, no all-day farming like some people.

I have to reluctantly agree that I like the loot tables as they are, that way when you do get a cool drop it is soooo much cooler than if something equivalent dropped every time you killed it.

On the other hand, making them drop more kinah would be nice compromise to people who find it unacceptable for bosses not to drop anything.

Went to elyos land and killed legendry boss on floating island in heiron, 6 manned it even, dropped nothing. I hate the bosses in this game -.-

We killed Kasika with at least 1 level 46 in the group and possibly a 47 (can't remember his level at the time).

Yeah I am not sure why they don't GET IT. Of course the Asian thing is all about long suffering, tragedy...blah blah blah (movies like Hero and Flying Daggers). So suffer you stupid American players (and Aussie's and European). Do the instance till your eyes bleed and your hands are raw and maybe just maybe you will be rewarded.

So you played the game for ~7.5 hours and didn't get one of the rarest category of items in the game to drop. 7.5 hours really isn't that long of a time.

Why does it take you so long to run such a simple instance? Also, the point stands...there is no lockout timer of real consequence (as in several hours to a full day), these are not only the rarest category of items in the game but also extendable weapons that are tremendously beneficial in PvP...what makes you think that farming this instance for a very short time entitles you to anything? If you don't think it's worth the shake then don't do it, go level, go hit 40, go do something you find productive, you're not obligated to farm Fire Temple and folks have been saying for two damn weeks now that it's kind of stupid to obsess over this instance yet people STILL do it.

Aye the drop rate in this game, when killing bosses is fairly unacceptible imo.
I was in Steel Rake, downed a boss who spawns a Lv.50 legendary Panther when she's at 50%. We wiped a couple of times, but then managed, dropped nothing, only kinah.
I killed the world boss King Con (giant bird), dropped nothing, did fire temple over 70 times, never saw a single yellow.

Imo every boss should drop something, i dont see it being OP if they drop a blue at least every time.
