There doesnt seem to be a huge number of new players joining Aion. The recommended server to join for the west is Fregion still and it has been this way fro some time. They are still calling a low pop server. This is still like this with character creation disabled on other servers. Where is this game heading is it already doomed? or is just a poor choice in place to roll?

True, True I am not talking so much our server as much as just the game as whole. I am afraid population all together will be quite low and NCSoft will give it less attention maybe no extended content or anything like that.
What causes the Fort Siege crashes? Is it Vista or is it NC Soft?

WoW would have 1/10th of the servers it has right now if they followed the same policy as AION, Blizzard doesn't care if a server has low population, PvP is accross the battlegroup, dead servers are simply dead to them. AION is a World PvP oriented game, it's necessary that the servers are close to 50/50 and that the population is high enough to keep it fun.
Sincerely, i'm not worried.

Even if Aion never reaches a fraction of WoW's playerbase, the end game PvP will still be fun. Aion did a fantastic job of supplying the playerbase with a go-to location for world PvP, and a PvP point system for fantastic gear. Put those two things together and you'll always have a thriving 50 PvP world, assuming balanced factions.
I, for one, am insanely excited for the level 50 scene.

Well it had to slow down sometime. There isnt an unending resource of new/interested players. I dont see a problem with it. Im actualy glad if Fregion fills up a bit more slowly that the first servers did. Keeps a steady stream of up and comming players needing lower level items for new crafters and such. Spreads out the crowding in zones as well. I came from Ariel at the start of the game and i can tell you, having to wait for, then fight over, mob spawns isnt fun. Specially with all the KS'ing that was going on. It was some kind of frantic race on Ariel. Now on Fregion its slightly more relaxed and open. I like it.

Really? Have you even been to a fortress siege?
I crash like 4 or 5 times as is. Has caused me many deaths?
I'm gald I'm not on a heavily populated server, it would be unbearable. A 100 or so makes it fun. =)
Stay with your friends on another server. mmm.k.

City of Heroes/Villains has been a NCSoft title for a number of years now with a comparatively low playerbase hovering around 100-150k players. Nonetheless, they have regularly released new "issues" every 3-6 months. Most of the newly released content is quite good and not just filler. I have a feeling NCSoft will give Aion it's due attention especially since it appears to be much bigger than their CoH/CoV titles.
Don't worry about numbers, just enjoy the game. :skip:
